It's very early days but this morning I got a BFP on a clear blue digital. I'm fighting the excitement as this means so much to me and I am scared it will not stick.

I'm on cycle day #25 and 12 days post ovulation. I only did the deed once in the window this month as ovulation was early and caught us off guard.

My cycle is usually between 24 and 28 days, with luteal of 11 or 12 days. According to my ovulation date I'm only one day late but I just had a feeling and tested. According to average cycle length I'm not even expecting AF until Wednesday. The test came up 'pregnant' really quickly.

I completed all my infertility tests with my GP and my husband is booked in for his next month. I was talking to my GP about next steps and referral to the fertility clinic a few days ago.

I'm very cautiously excited ;). I have had some light brown spotting today and trying to think positively, but I know it is extremely early days. Hubby keeps telling me not to get excited just yet.

That should have been discharge rather than spotting.

CongratulationsFlowers. It is very early so I understand why you are being cautious. I would probably do another couple of tests if I was in your situation. I'm 37 and have lost count of what cycle I'm at but came off the pill January 2014 and started trying soon after. I had a mc at 6 weeks on 28 May and nothing since... Let us know how you get on I'll keep my fx for youSmile.

The digital was yesterday and the cross was just now. I'm going to do another digital in a couple of days in the hope it shows an increase in HCG ??. I'm still trying to be cautious but, that is a beautifully clear strong line ??

Congratulations on your bfp. I can tell you from experience that there is no point trying not to get excited! Obviously, it is a scary time but not being excited isn't going to change anything. Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months xx

Still going well and the time since conception indicator seems to be spot on. I really hope my poppy seed sticks.
