Hi all,

I'm in the Leeds area and looking for help with what to do next. I'm 33, and ttc for 6 months, but have had 2 early miscarriages (at 4.5 weeks) in the last 5 cycles (no 1 & 5) and I'mWorried that something is wrong and wondered if anyone could advise.

My cycle is irregular - it seems to be around 27 days but I ovulate on different days each cycle. Usually OPK is positive day 15- 18, (usually 15/16) and so I think I have a shorter luteal phase than is ideal. But I start spotting on day 26/27 and then get period on day 1. Does anyone know what impact spotting can have on a cycle? Do these days still count as part of the luteal phase?

I am a size 18 but I lead far from a sedentary lifestyle- I run twice a week, swim twice a week and gym twice a week for an hour, at a moderate pace. I've lost 3 stone in past 18 months and wanted to lose it moderately so I could keep it off but I'm started to panic that this is why and maybe I should go on lipotrim or something till I get to a healthy bmi.

I'm having lots of symptoms that would suggest low progesterone but my gp hasn't been much help and doesn't seem to understand that there is treatment available in these instances.

She has ageeed to do the 21 day test (but she said I would also need a test on day 1) this is a problem now because it has fallen on the weekend so can't get the test done on the NHS today and I'm not sure if that means I have to wait till next month now as today is day 1 and I'm not sure if the test she wanted can be gotten after day 1. Also, whilst today is day 1, it's also a miscarriage bleed. Don't know if that would invalidate the results.

To sum up I'm not quite sure what the next step is and where I should go. If anyone had been in a similar situation and can advise I would greatly appreciate it.

Something else that may be relevant is I breastfed till April of this year. From October '14-April '15 I was just feeding once a day (AF came back in October '14) but I still have milk if I squeeze the nipple so there is a concern about my prolactin levels too I guess.

I do have one gorgeous DD age 25 months and one missed miscarriage at 6 weeks(10 weeks d & c)

Tia.
