Anyone else had faint positives and then negatives?

I took these two tests at the weekend - the one on the right was Saturday evening, the left was Sunday morning. Both came up with faint blue lines. Since then I have retested 3 times on Dollar tree tests (the same ones I used with my other pregnancies) and nothing. At least, one came up with a line, but after the time period - I just saw it the next day. The others are more negative than any test I ever saw. You can't even make an evap line appear by squinting :D

I'm not trying to be pregnant, so I don't mind this being a negative, in fact a baby would be a major bad timing right now, but that's life and we'd accept it. I just hate waiting for my period so long and not knowing. My last cycle began on the 8th August and I'm not sure what my usual cycle length is, but maybe 31 days. I'm definitely late, right? Or am I going mad?

I feel nauseous some mornings, but it seems linked to whether or not I am taking the kids to school as I only get 5 hours sleep then, and lack of sleep makes me nauseous anyhow.

I'm confused. Can you see a line on these? Any thoughts? Why else would I be late?
