Hi

I'm 26 and have been TTC #1 for a year. I haven't recently come off any contraception, we were using a planning method for years so I got to know my cycle pretty well. We've been trying for over a year but it's only recently that dp has upped his interest and started to become broody, in line with this we've been dtd every 2 days for four months.

I've been tracking my periods for a couple of years now, I was always in the 28-30 day bracket, if AF hadn't turned up within that time she could be expected within 32 days. 30 days was my average for the last two years.

Now though, my average for the past six months is 34 days with the longest period lasting 40 days and the last couple of months all being over 35 days.

When they do turn up my periods have changed, AF used to turn up middle of the night heavy flow. Now I get hardly a sign, not even spotting only pink/brown when I wipe, for three-five days then relatively medium flow for another week. I used to have heavy for three days and dry up over the next 2-4 lasting no more than a week but over 5days normal.

This is worrying me as we're ttc and it feels like my body is tricking me every month. Is it possible I'm suffering early miscarriages or do you think I'm just not conceiving?

I just want to know if anyone else is in the same boat and if you think I should go to the dr? I haven't had any conception appointment though I have made the dr's aware we're trying.

Thanks for reading this? I know other peoples details aren't interesting so I'm grateful for any advice.

Thanks BrewCake

Afaik if you are under 35(?) and have been ttc for over a year with no luck you can see your Dr, I don't know if they do tests or something.????Not very helpful but didn't want to read and run! ????Good luck x

Are you charting your bbt and using opk's to make sure you are ovulating?

No I haven't done any charting yet, it all seems too regimented and I already feel stressed every 2ww.
