I did a test today as planned to see if I should worry if I have a glass of wine at my parents house this weekend, and I'm not sure. I think I can see a very faint line, and I could see it really quickly. It's not overly clear in photos, looks more like a shadow, but there is definitely colour to it and it was there within the time. What do you think?

Jellybean would a FRER be any use just now, or would I be best to wait until tomorrow morning or Sunday, given how faint it is?

lily as the first response ones are so sensitive, if you do one today it is likely to give you a clearer line than another type of hpt. Might give you an indication one way or the other.

Well, I'm now one day over and no AF. Did a FRER two days ago and it was a bfn, so not sure what's going. Suspect she'll just be a day or two late. So frustrating since at this point I'd rather just know if she's coming!

Well I know what I would do.....especially as I would be convinced of that line!

I've looked again at the photo and think I can see what you mean. How long after the test did you take the photo (only asking because I can see you're in the car so presume you didn't actually poas while in the drivers' seat ;-) ). It's just that evaporation lines can start to appear like that after an hour or two.

I took the photo about 20 minutes after, but the line hasn't changed since 4 minutes after I took the test, it's just I have awful lighting at home. Thanks everyone, I'm a bit in shock! Also panicking now as I've had an ectopic before and will need a very early scan to make sure any bean is in the right place...

Early scans are actually very exciting! I had one at 6 weeks last time and even then you can see the heart beat flickering away in the middle of a blob. It's amazing that 6 short weeks after that you see a fully formed baby on the screen, albeit tiny!!

Well, the FRER was a big fat BFN, so guess I'll just have to wait and see after a couple of days

On cd 12. Positive opk today and I seem to ov on day 13. We dtd on cd 8, 10, and will be first thing tomorrow morning as oh had a pre arranged night out. I hope it's enough

I haven't had AF in a while so not sure when to test but think I picked up my LH surge last Tuesday so am just waiting for it to arrive before I count myself out.
TTC #4 but am very nervous as we are keeping it a secret in RL. I don't know anyone with 4 children and when I talk to my friends they are really negative and
My DH has finally agreed but said he wants it to be a surprise (he wants to pretend it is accidental as he will get stick from his family) so I feel a bit alone in all this.
It usually takes us 6-7 months so I may be around for a while. Lovely to see so many BFP's already. Good luck to everyone.

When is af due?

Jelly AF is due tomorrow. I did another of the same brand as I got the faint BFP with yesterday with fmu but got another BFN so might be a chemical preg. Going to hold off testing again for a few days if I can as last month I had an unusually long cycle, so AF may not even be due yet I guess.

TattieHowkerz, Age37, TTC#2, test date 25/10/15. Have a feeling might have been too late this month as we started TTC on the morning of CD 15. I'd already had EWCM for a couple of days and am not sure when it stopped. Was perhaps on the way out by the time we tried. Anyway, fingers crossed!

I knew there was a line on the first one even though you can't see it! Also shows ic are pretty weak!

Think I will give it another week for AF to start before I do any tests. Unlikely I would catch on so soon but am seriously addicted to POAS.
Good to know IC's are not going to show before FRER.

FX for our BFP's

Was up during the night being sick, which isn't a normal AF symptom, though I do still have cramps. Got a v v faint BFP on an FRER, but it won't photograph, so I'm not giving up. I'm going to cling to this until AF arrives or mid-week when I will do a digital one
