October bfp bus, hop on your broomsticks and banish the witch!

Hoping a bit of Halloween magic starts early and grants us all our bfp's!!

Hi pomme we are due the same day! What symptoms have you got? I thought I had some but I'm not too sure now. My boobs were aching like mad last week but seem ok now but I do have loads of EWCM which is strange for me around this time? I did give in and do a CB digi this morning which was a negative but hoping that could just be cos it's too soon, xx

Fx for a BFP on Friday then, lily! I know what you mean about not knowing how to cover not drinking around people - I was at the in-laws' at the weekend and in exactly the same boat as you. Usually we would stay over, but we decided that I would 'nobly' drive home that evening instead, thus giving me an excuse for not being able to drink! Not sure how many months I can keep that up, though, as we do stay over quite a lot, and we will be having Christmas with them... Might just have to come clean at that point!

I'm at a wedding at the weekend and a bit worried about people noticing that I'm not drinking... I won't be driving anywhere after (it's in central London) so that excuse is out of the window. Vikki I think your idea about just sipping and then having OH polish it off at an opportune moment is good! Think my DH would be quite happy with that arrangement, too!

So after my trip to the gp my swabs came back clear which is good. I had an ultrasound today to see if I have any cysts. The sonographer wasn't very helpful but she said there was a fibroid.

I'm not sure what impact, if any, it will have on having another baby. I'm trying to keep away from google but I have zero information on anything now.

It doesn't explain my short LP but it might explain my pain and spotting through the cycle.

Glad the swabs came back clear, Kitty, and that there were no cysts. I don't think fibroids are an issue... My GP thought that might be the reason for my funny 'bright red' period back in April, but he didn't say anything about them affecting fertility. In fact, he actually said that I'd find out if I had them at a 12-week scan, because they'd show up better than the baby at that point! I've resisted Googling... Sounded all right to me :)

That's interesting bluebell as I'm trying to work out when I developed it/them. No one mentioned a fibroid with any one the scans for dd2 so it must have developed after I lost her. Which is pretty much the time frame that things have been a bit odd.

There seems to be lots of people saying it should have no effect on fertility which is good. Just my short LP to tackle now, although I don't think the gp will do anything about that.

kitty glad most things came back normal for you, I really hope they will help with your short LP, I sometimes find that just keeping on at them can get results, maybe ask why the things others have found helpful aren't suitable for you, at least then you would have some answers.

I don't feel very pg, but I am on anti-nausea meds now, so that could stop that part kicking in, plus it's still way too early for any real symptoms to appear. My bathroom cabinet is overflowing with tests, so I don't mind doing quite a few, although I'm saving the digital ones for when I get a BFP on a normal one

Annoyingly I have got really bad ovulation pains from my left side and we didn't dtd last night in the end. I thought I would ovulate on Wednesday or Thursday so felt missing last night and making up for it tonight and tomorrow would be ok. Now I think I might have missed this cycle as last dtd on Saturday morning. On the plus side, it means I am ovulating again (wasn't at all sure I had done so since giving birth) and I have never managed to get pregnant from my left side, so in my mind always rule those months out - maybe because it hurts so much I often can't dtd, whereas I never get any pain at all from my right side. Hey ho, the joy of endometriosis!

What does it feel like to get your BFP? I honestly can't imagine it.

Currently still waiting out the testing here. 14dpo but want to try to wait until 16dpo before I test (assuming AF hasn't turned up by then).

Been lurking and loving seeing the BFPs pop up! There are loads! Amazing. Just realised I will be testing again in Oct, 30th. Good luck everyone still to go

Exciting Jo any line is positive. When I got my bfp with Ds it was on an ic I only had 1 ic and 1 digital as was in Portugal on holiday with mil n fil. A faint line on ic led to digital cb 2-3 weeks pregnant so even faint it was very clear.
