Hi, Just had my 3rd chemical pregnancy, AF is stopping and starting and positive test turned negative 3 days ago?? BUT the main thing is I feel AWFUL. I feel sick with constant hot flashes and unbearably tired and weak. I didn't feel as bad after the last one but I think 2 in a row is really messing with my body and hormones now :( Anyone else had a chemical and feel like this after? xxx

Sorry this is happening to you. I don't have personal experience of this however my friend had a similar experience. It turned out that some of the embryo hadn't detached properly and caused an infection. It wasn't pleasant for her but following some medical help she was fine and now has a lovely little girl.I'd go see your gp

I would go to the GP tbh. If you've had 3 chemicals then that could be a sign of some bigger problem? Either way, I wiuld make an appointment (and maybe take some iron tablets if you're not already because you've probably lost a bit more blood than having a regular period). So sorry this has been happening Flowers

I had one a few months ago, a simple faint positive on day af was due (with loads of symptoms the week or so before and implantation spotting) then started bleeding later that day.

For the couple of weeks after I felt rubbish (not emotionally but physically) and that next cycle was really messed up.

If you've had 3 I'm not surprised you're feeling rubbish. I would get booked in at the gp and see if they have any advice.

Thanks all, I actually did go to my doctor yesterday but tbh I landed up feeling stupid for going. She said the NHS don't intervene until 2 years is up and it's a great sign I'm actually 'getting pregnant' so I'll just have to wait it out. She said my hormone levels don't need checking as I'm ovulating fine and using baby aspirin during that time to help blood flow to the foetus is a myth so just carry on as I am :( I just feel so utterly shit and tired, my partner can't even be bothered to go on supplements, he's so blaze about the whole thing I really feel like on my own.

That's really shit. I thought they intervened after 3 losses, no matter how early they are. I'm sure you're not in the frame of mind to fight but I'd serious,y think about a second opinion on that.

Yeh I read other women who went in after just two and the docs did full bloodwork etc on them :( She did say that they aren't miscarriages she just said that the egg and sprem hadn't come together properly and it was a good sign that my body was recognising that and 'expelling it'. I think I might go in and requested to see another doctor, just feel such a mess I really don't want it happening again, not straight away at least xx thank you for listening xx

I think there's lot of theories on CP. I'm slightly concerned that ,one was another trisomy. At least the pregnancy didn't take I guess. I know they're different to early MC but there's still got to be a reason they're not sticking.

Could you see if you can find a gp in your surgery that focuses more on obstetrics or gyne? I have a gp who's interests are obsetrics, gyne and metal health. I plan on booking in with her as she is more likely to have a bit more knowledge and will take take into consideration the effects on my mh. It's all theoretical atm, I may go and she tells me to bugger off and come back in a year!
