No news here, my week of zen got off to a bad start when DP texted me with a babybomb. He sodding well knew I'd be upset about it. Our friends are expecting again. DP thinks this is great news because if she can get pg (she's 4 yrs older than me) then I've got bags of time. Sigh. He just doesn't fucking get it. So I wiped up the tears, pulled myself together and had a nice day out with my friend instead.

Cd13 today, hopefully I'll see the beginnings of some ewcm today and get it on later.

Good luck today sammy hope you're ok going on your own, I agree I wouldn't want anyone with me other than the hubby, too much pressure. I've only told a select few about our issues so far, certainly no mention of anything, including any intentions of TTC with either sets of parents, it would just be horrendous! Its pressure enough with my younger sister just having a baby.

GP appt for me this afternoon too. She made an appt for me as norethisterone doesn't seem to be working to give me a bleed. eskimo perhaps you can lend your experience here, (apologies for the TMI here but hopefully those boundaries are broken down with you ladies already?!) Was your bleed after the norethisterone like a normal period? I've had no "flow" but over the past 24 hours have had a dark discharge, a bit clotty if that makes sense? Don't know if to count that as the bleed or not? Will ask Dr later but your past experience is much appreciated!

To those talking about turning 30, I completely understand, it was several months before my 30th that I decided to come off the pill, thinking we would start TTC around my birthday, I've just turned 31, my sister just had her baby at 29. Its heartbreaking but I know its just a number, more social pressures than anything else - I hope anyway!!!!

bean ah yeah am hearing you with the NHS. Baseline tests is all they are good for really. If used to wonder why friends/family went private when they were eligible for free rounds on IVF. Now I know why. plus the waiting list is looooooooooooong!

I cried on my 30th birthday. I think I even cried on my 25th because I was single and didn't have any children/husband. Its strange as most of my friends babies are teenagers now in secondary school.

We still have plenty of time ladies don't fret.

well, I've started bleeding, a lot, so it's officially over. I'm at work, I'm shaking and really struggling to keep it together. Although my (male) boss would be understanding, I'm not sure I can face telling him, and not sure what to do. I've also discovered this mascara is not waterproof

So sorry lily, wish I could swap for you. I want a bleed and you didn't, wish there were some little fairies out there to change it all!

Oh Lily you don't have to explain to your boss right now - but you will be useless at work and should really be home being taken care of. Especially if you are bleeding quite heavily. You may need to take a few days off to recover properly, is there anyone at work who you can confide in. xxx
