I've been trying to get pregnant with no success Sadi have a regular period ..every 26 days. 6 yrs ago I came of the pill and had irregular periods for a few months so gp ran bloods which showed my progesterone was less than 1. They weren't concerned as back then I wasn't trying to get pregnant.

I've just had my day 21 bloods done and progesterone is 68 ... From googling I'm assuming this is a good result. But Does that definitely mean that I have ovulated? Also if my progesterone level is in the higher end of the range why is my luteal phase short at approx 10 days?? They didn't check my fsh or prolactin levels. I'm just in limbo at the mo .... Really wanna know why it's not happening.

68 is really good. It needs to be over 30 to confirm ovulation.

My LP ranges from 11 to 13 days and my cycles are between 27-30 days.

So all normal for us - just a waiting game isn't it

So u think I've definately ovulated? My lp ranges as well the thing is I'm
Not entirely sure when I ovulate but I always get a positive opk
On day 14 and nearly positives on day 13 and 15. Very hard to determine as I only use the cheap opks and I don't check my temp. How long have you been ttc for norasbattys? I hate the waiting game lol
I'm
Soo inpatient and fret about everythingConfused

I know how you feel with being impatient and anxious! Progesterone of 68 is very good indeed. I was having short lutal phases too with spotting (my progesterone last cycle was 61) and what has helped me lengthen it taking 50mg of B6 (with a B vitamin complex tablet) after ovulation. It got my LP from 10 days with to a whopping 15 days last cycle with no spotting. I couldn't quite believe it. I only take it after ovulation though (I use OPKs).

It's odd that your Dr didn't do any other tests though. Maybe ask for CD3 bloods which have FSH, LH and prolactin?

Really that's brilliant. Do u think the short luteal phase is preventing u from getting pregnant? How long have u been ttc? Has your progesterone levels always been normal? My gp really didn't want to know she only checked my progesterone because I told get it was low in the past. I'm
Gunna have to arrange another appointment

I've been taking vitamin b complex this cycle as I read about it on the short luteal phase thread. Should u only take it after ovulation??
