Brown discharge/spotting

I'm CD9 today. My period finished on CD4, as usual. But since CD7 I've been having some brown discharge when wiping after going to the loo, kind of like old blood? No red or pink at all, and it's very light - not enough to stain knickers or need a panty liner.

I had a clear smear and a colposcopy in July (follow up to treatment last year) so I think it's unlikely to be an issue with my cervix.

Does anyone else ever get this? There's no smell or itching or anything like that. Is it just one of those things? Should I be worried? My cycle last month was longer than I expected, so I wondered if that could be relevant?

I had this for a few months a couple of years ago - 4 day period, 2 days of nothing, 3 days of brown spotting. It went away after a while, no idea what caused it.

It's got much heavier today. But it's still brown - no red blood at all. I'm really puzzled.
