CD10 scan today and things are looking like they are progressing.

Lining is now at 6mm.

Left ovary = 14,9,9,8,7,7

Right ovary = 15,13,13,9,7,7,7

So I've got 4 dominant follicles which it looks like we should be able to something with. I'm not sure any of the others will catch up but it seems unlikely to me!
I had a figure of wanting 6 dominant follicles in my head, so feel disappointed at 4, but as DH keeps telling me 4 potential eggs is better than none- so I'll take 4!

Waiting to hear what the clinic want me to do next in terms of meds.

Woo hoo Rosebud! Been checking in all day to see how you'd got on. Sadly, your DH is right Wink 4 is better than none. It only takes one... Thinking of you Flowers

Yay rosebud! That's more like it. 4 is plenty, and you never know - I hear that with PCOS and injectibles the follies can go off like rockets so you might find a couple of the smaller ones catch up over the next 36 hours or so. Safe travels and keep us posted on how it all goes. Bestest of luck! Xxx

Sorry for the lack of posts recently but I have been watching from afar. It has been a busy couple of weeks.

That's great news Rosebud 4 is definitely better than nothing. In our position we have to take anything we can get and never give up hope!

A little update on me...I have my Hycosy scan in the morning and I have never been so nervous about anything in my entire life. Fingers crossed it is good news or else I don't think will cope. Clomid is literally 2 week away if all is clear!!!

Hello from a very sunny Brno! GrinWe arrived early this morning and have just met our Dr and had another follicle scan. I now have 5 dominant follicles on the left and 8 dominant follicles on the right! Bit of a difference from yesterday morning.
They have added Certrotide to my protocol now and we have a date for EC..... 1st Feb! I'm in a lot of abdominal discomfort already so god knows what I'll be like by Monday. I just can't wait to (fingers crossed) create some embryos!

hi ladies,

sorry ive not been on here in a few days, been busy with work etc.

best of luck to rosebud and dunlin i've my fingers crossed for you both

I've been trying to read the past threads inbetween other things, and its given me so much more information about PCOS. I've decided that i need to loose weight (again). I've lost weight before but always fell off the band wagon and piled it all back on again.

But after reading the threads and a few documents i see the prevalence of PCOS suffers developing type 2 diabetes. it already runs in my family so i need to shift the weight to help with the control of that.

Ive also been suffering with horrible symptoms of pcos for a few years, which have been until now, unexplained....

for 3 years ive been suffering from alopechia, now i realise that it's a symptom of pcos. I also have excess facial hair which in the last 12-18 months has gone absolutly crazy. in the last 6-8 months ive been suffering from a flare up of oily spots on my skin (which i now think are adult ache) i've never suffered with spots on my face ever, that an roseaca.

i've got a consulant appointment for the 29th Feb and i'm going to discuss my future and possible medicaiton to control these horrible symptoms as well as TTC

Just a quick question, has anyone with pcos got psoriasis? Reading some american journals and they say psoriasis suffers are 6 times more likely to develop Pcos......

Hurrah rosebud! Knew it would come good for you. Enjoy Czech and get some rest. We are all rooting for you!

dunlin so pleased your hycosy was clear. Onwards to clomid!

amy can't help on the psoriasis, sorry - but it's great you're recommitting to weight loss. It sounds like it's such a big driver of success for so many pcos-ers, it's well worth doing.

AFM, I am in great shape! I have one single lovely 16mm follie and lining is at 8mm with a triple stripe. So trigger Monday morning and IUI Tuesday. Have had to cancel a work trip but so be it. Am excited to be in the game!

Thanks Chandelier, Elle, Amy and Stealth Feeling more relaxed now. We spent the whole afternoon in our hotel room sleeping (Neither of us had slept well for days) It was a shame to miss the gorgeous weather but was defo needed!

Amy Yes! I have psoriasis on my elbow and on parts of my scalp including behind my ear. It only affects my right side of my body oddly but I get really bad flare ups. I've had it since I was a teenager and rob ably around the same time as being diagnosed with PCOS so there might be something in that! Do you have it?

Stealthy baby! Sooooo pleased that your IUI is all set for Tuesday. Good job ovaries!!! It's going to be a busy few days with your IUI on Tuesday, my EC on Monday and Bananas POAS on Monday!!!

We are off to the Zoo today... They even have Polar bears apparently Shock I'm not usually a zoo lover but apparently it's very nice.

rosebud

Yes I do have psoriasis, I've had it since I was 4. Had a really bad flare-up initially and was hospitalised for intensive treatment when I was 4. Since then it's come and gone, but I've always had at least 1 patch of it.

My psoriasis is on the outer sides of my body (outer legs, arms, back, stomach and chest) they say that mine is 'dew drop' psoriasis as it looks like I've stood in a puddle (denser nearer my ankles and spreads up from there). I also have it in my scalp, which again comes and goes.

Will come back for personals and to wish our thread goddess Rosebud all the luck in the world for tomorrow (and stealth for Tuesday!)

But just wanted to pop in and share a bit of news...

Omg. Caved and tested early - today is 8dp5dt and OTD isn't till Thu (12dp5dt)

But a very solid BFP line on a FRER!!!

Cautious as it is early and it could fade. But cautiously optimistic! Smile
