My husband and I got a bit frisky the other day - ovulation day - unbeknown to me, and basically he withdrew before ejaculation, can I get pregnant? I don't mind, but we have a 6 month old, lol xx

Of course you can. I have a friend who got pregnant this way.

Yes, of course you can get pregnant. If you don't want another child so soon, go and get emergency contraception from the chemist - the sooner the better.

Have you thought about a contraceptive injection, if you find other methods difficult to keep to?

I am almost 9 wks preg with a 'withdrawl' technique baby. So if you don't want to be preg go get map or a coil fitted asap.

Partner and I practised withdrawal for years without any pregnancies. I think if it had been a case of definitely not wanting children then I would've gone on the pill but we had spoken about having children and agreed it wouldn't be the end of the world if I'd fallen pregnant earlier than expected. I'm on the coil now as I, 100%, don't want anymore children (yet). We had our two both the first month of trying.
However , as I said , it's not reliable and shouldn't be used as a main form of contraception.
