Any one get a false negative on a Clear Blue digital then a BFP?

Hellllo! I am new here and we are TTC, this is the first month too! My period is due in 2 days so I decided to take a test and has a clear blue digital and it ready "not pregnant". I was curious and opened the test and I saw two lines, one was lighter but it was there, didn't have to squint to see it either. Now I am super confused. Is it true that the digital tests by clear blue online measure a positive when there is a HCG levels of 50+?

Think it's 25+....tests like first response and superdrug are better as can be used when levels are at 10mui. I had 6/7 negative tests before I had a positive including several clear blue. Finally got my positive when I was a week late. My 'negative test' is now two.

There are always two lines on digital test, they test differently to non digital tests. If you have a Google there have been lots of women me that have thought the same!

Yes, I know there are always two lines on the digital ones but the HCG has to be at a certain level for it to read positive, so that is why I think I shouldn't have done a digital 2 days before my missed period. lol I will try a first response tomorrow! :)

I did, tested 3days late and negative then tested 4 days late and it was positive with fmu. I tested with a very faint positive on a cheapie strip 3 days late too

blue you might want to start a new thread. Clear blue digital always have multiple lines inside. If your test said not pregnant, you may be testing too early. (CB digi aren't sensitive at all.) Best to test with a frer (first response early result)

bluerose24- ANY UPDATES?? Our stories are similar. I'm 1 day late and took 2 CBD and both "not pregnant", took it apart and saw three lines. I'm trying to save the third in case I start......plz reply, I need support!!
