I've been trying to conceive for about 1 1/2 year without being able to. I'm very desperate, stressed, and worried (nervous very nervous). Because next year I will be 49 and I want to have a baby girl before menopause. I already have 8 boys and 2 girls (including a set of identical twin boys). I hope no one puts me down about wanting another baby because I get a lot of that from some of my family. But how I see it no one helps me take care of my kids just me and my husband and help from my older sons. I just want some idea of how to get pregnant naturally because I know someone out their can give me good advice about conceiving naturally. And I want it to happen with a natural method because I am a christen person and a church going person and I always, always try to treat everyone right no matter how they are or what they've done as long as they treat me with respect and don't criticize me about how many kids I had . I try to pick people up when they feel down because I know how that feels from what people have told me in the past that's why I always try to help. So please can anyone help me before it's to late.

I'm not sure abut natural conception at your age. It may not be possible. I think really you need fertility tests to see if it's still even possible before you set yourself up for more disappointment. On a side note, what would you feel if you did get pregnant and it was a boy? I think you need to think about this. Best of luck.

KitKat1985 Thank you for answering me. I have faith in God because He has helped me out in the most impossible problems and I know He has heard my prayer and He will answer me . And I have proof He has helped me especially with money over a thousand dollars worth so I know I will get pregnant I know only God knows the right time and day and hour. And for doctors I just rely on God . I hardly ever go to the doctor because thank God I don't get sick that much. I heard someone say stay away from doctors because then they tell you that something might be wrong then you go home thinking about what the doctor told you then you sit at home thinking about it then you do end up getting really sick and then the problems get worse by thinking and having fear.

Well in that regard then I'm not really sure that there's anything that anyone on Mumsnet is going to say that will be able to help you (sorry I'm not religious so I can't share your faith). I hope things work out for you.

God seems to have been pretty generous for you already!
Maybe it is easier to have such strong faith when you haven't faced a lot of the troubles others have with even trying to conceive 1 child.
I wish you the best of luck in conceiving your 11th child. But do remember to count your blessings already.
