We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

I seem to have settled into a 32 day ish cycle, app reckons I O around day 17.
If AF due so soon then they could very well be symptoms for her or the other, it may well be a long four days, my love (slides over a twin pack of Chocolate Fingers)

Thanks prty slides choc fingers into back pocket I had my blood test yesterday so should know this week fx if I'm ovulating, although due my crazy cycle last month it's thrown my average out a bit so may take a few attempts to get an accurate result, anyway thanks for being my sounding board retreats to sofas with cuppa

Phew! Looks like everyone made it back safe and well after the outage! MN is more unpredictable than our foofs! The only benefit to last nights enforced MN abstinence was me picking up Ella's book The Baby Making Bible. Didn't get very far in so still trying to keep an open mind...has anyone else read it yet?

Sorry to hear of the AF's. Neetie indulge yourself in OH's absence- chocolate, wine, take aways.

I'm on 9dpo now. I keep checking my boobs for pre AF soreness. Im probably making them bloody sore by doing it. And I look like les Dawson doing his impression of a woman hoiking her boobs up all the time

Not till cd 28 kitten, which is 15dpo. At least that's the plan.

shary - no idea - all looks the same to me! The time when you should have it in theory you will have the sperm there too so no idea how you're supposed to tell the difference?!!

shary when I'm O (or when I think I am!) I have CM all the time, like for 2-3 days solid, regardless of (no other way to say this) state of arousal. Even just wiping after a pee gives me a pretty good indication. Otherwise, maybe work it into DTD so that you or OH can check (in a sexy, not scientific way!)

psst shary you really wanna know....? Smell it! CM is odourless and man-fluid is, well, ya know...it has its own fragrance. Also, much like Prty said, gooey CM should be there for a sustained period of time. My experience of man juice is that it all plops out in one go!

Boobies are so painful now, it hurts to shower, get dressed or even inhale too deeply . They just feel....bruised? This had better bloody mean something because I am not prepared to put up with this for two weeks every cycle!!

39, TTC#1, been off the pill since July.

Back in the days before the pill (and the times I came off it in the last 15 years) my cycle worked like clockwork on a 28-day cycle where I could predict to the hour what was going on, though having read the thread i do realise that's not often the case!

Currently on CD34, 24 DPO, shagged like rabbits around ovulation, felt the hormones change from ov phase to luteal phase, then just stayed in luteal phase, it seems. No idea what's really going on though. Tested the day AF was due a week ago and it was negative.

How long do you think i should wait before testing again? No sign of AF here - also no sign of pregnancy - just... nothing. i guess we should probably just get shagging again anyway in case my body decides to sort itself out - though I find that quite difficult in full-on luteal phase progesterone hell, where I don't want to be touched and DTD is just plain uncomfortable and totally uninspiring.

Yups aindy I typed 'Smell it!!' then remembered how gross man juice smells!! It would be my secondary advice though if you don't seem to be made of 90% CM like my pants generally are!!
Also agree with the fact that you kinda lose man juice rather rapidly after DTD! As an aside, anyone else find this another big let down of TTC? I'd never DTD without a condom before TTC and thought it would be oh so magical and feel amazing to experience an unreserved climax... it's just gross and nothing prepared me for that awkward waddle to the bathroom trying not to ruin the carpet!! Anyway...
Welcome anima you're more than welcome to join us :) it can take a while for contraception to work its way out of your system - just about a year for me to get regular, about 8 months before I had AF. That being said some people get pg pretty quickly so keep DTD and try not to get too down if AF doesn't show yet

I think I am probably going to be out this month. I'm temping, and my temp for the last two mornings has dropped. It's not below the cover line, but it's only just hovering above it. This doesn't feel very promising. I might have to go away for work in the middle of next month, so might totally miss my fertile window. Annoying.

Magnificat I would have thought that if AF is a week late it's worth testing again. Remarkable self restraint you've shown so far!

Kitten Think I'm testing on Saturday - the only day when I get 10 mins in the bathroom after my morning pee!!!

Sunny with a POAS addiction you'll soon get used to the quick ninja peeing and won't need ten minutes, I'm in and out in 60 seconds now! Lol
