Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Eugh my Facebook resembles the new baby section of Clinton Cards tonight!! Seriously is everyone pregnant/a new mum?! Envy Sorry to hear you're feeling poorly Stripes

Stripes1983 · 15/09/2015 22:41

Ah ok thanks ladies , most likely just one of those things , I'll try and push it to the back of my mind for now as I have a long wait until POAS time !

neetie1 · 15/09/2015 22:44

Evening still very bloated and on/off warm sensation still there with odd niggly pains not going to get too excited just yet as it could be body playing silly buggers.saying that woke up at 3am with really hot u comfy belly ...

LittleAindy · 15/09/2015 23:04

Prty is that what chemical pgs are?? I never really understood what made them different to an early miscarriage. Makes sense.

Stripes don't let that stat put you off. After all, that is for the 'average' pregnancy, and I think we've established we're all far from average on here! Don't fight the cray. Let it in!

Neetie I have an overwhelming urge to
feel your warm belly...

Well helllooooooo laydeeeeeeez WinkWink

I've just read all the posts and am now having a senior moment (forgive an old 40 year old guv'nor) and can't remember any of them suffice to say yay and boo and lol.

I am now 2dpo with a massive depression at having looked at the 'charts like mine' feature on FertilityFriend. Basically I seem to have a less than 1 in 14 chance of conceiving this cycle with my age, ovulation pattern and BD pattern, and that's assuming I'm even remotely fertile. Unyippee and unhurrah.
I may have had a large glass of wine due to severe off-pissedness from work too. Feeling pretty shit with myself as a result.

I'm after the fertile window but may have to have some whispers sex to cheer myself up. Is it just me or does anyone else do that? It's either that or Jane Eyre and a bag of maltesers. Mr moo isn't so keen on the book option.

MummyBex1985 · 16/09/2015 06:49

Well, no need to test. The bitch showed up this morning.

Sad
PrtyPsn · 16/09/2015 07:36

aindy that's my understanding anyway, think it's cos it's not a 'real' pregnancy cos it was never viable but clearly chemically you were pregnant... can't explain it better than that, sorry... thing is any of us could have had this without knowing - if you don't test early then you would never know cos it presents like a normal period - so secretly you could all be more fertile than you think... *disclaimer- the majority of my conception knowledge is from lurking MN boards before I created my own so I'd always advise doing your own research lol!
bex what a big fat kick in the foof, my lovely :( there's always next cycle though, onwards and upwards x
moo that just plain sucks however try not to compare - who says their charts are right? They could be anomalies anywhere and even if it's right there's still a 1 in 14 chance - why can't you be that 1? Someone has to be and you've gotta be in it to win it x

neetie1 · 16/09/2015 07:43

I had a chemical pregnancy tested on a digital and was positive then two days later mega bleed :( on the bright side it prompted DH to propose lol

Still bloated this morning and feels kinda tight but not so warm today it is mainly really warm in the evening so maybe just another body confusing thing rather than proper indication of 'activity' :(

PrtyPsn · 16/09/2015 07:53

Aww sorry to hear that neetie but as you say it prompted something positive :)
How many DBAFD? It's definitely a very interesting symptom! FX'd x

MummyBex1985 · 16/09/2015 08:00

Neetie I have my FX for you. If you've never been PG before then any new and weird symptom could be a sign Smile

Onwards and upwards indeed Smile at least now I can enjoy plenty of rare steaks and wine on holiday in a couple of weeks despite my current massive disappointment Smile

Stripes1983 · 16/09/2015 08:07

Aww moo like Prty says don't let the stats put you off, I know loads of woman who have been told there is pretty much no chance of getting pregnant and have gone on to have babies so don't give up hope bex that sucks ! Sending you a big hug xx

neetie1 · 16/09/2015 12:18

Think I am day 19 due af on 24th

Stripes1983 · 16/09/2015 12:34

I'm day 19 too neetie due the 25th, although I'm feeling like I'm due on now, very irritable and short tempered , constipated ( sorry!) and had a twinge of period like pains in my stomach earlier !

MrsKittenPie · 16/09/2015 13:42

Hi everyone
mummy sorry to hear of your af - stupid witch, roll on next cycle for you.
Boo to those with af cramps - hopefully they are implantation twinges, will be keeping fingers crossed for you.
I have no idea what my crazy foof is doing. I have now decided that that weird spotting last week couldn't have been counted as an af as there was virtually nothing there so even though I'm on cd39 of a usually 29 day cycle I think if I even ovulated at all it was very late so could be approx 12 dpo now but bfns every day. Having said that it could have been a freakishly light af and I'm now on cd 10 ish but who the hell knows?!!! So I won't be bothering with opks this month as my foof is bloody stupid and doesn't work!

neetie1 · 16/09/2015 14:12

Weirdly have had no spotting or cramping ..so will probably get some now I've said it lol

LittleAindy · 16/09/2015 14:17

Neetie, Stripes, we are all a day after each other. I'm due on the 26th! CD 26 here due to long cycles.

kitten sorry about your super cray cray. Why do they do it to us??

Oh Bex mega huge hugs. Good that you can indulge on holiday though. Sounds like that might be optimum DTD time?? Smile

Sorry to hear that moo. Don't lose hope though. Like Prty said, there's no reason why you can't be that 1!

Still a big weepy mess here. Work is really getting on top of me and everyone is just generally stressed at the start of term, as usual (sigh). OH being very sweet and supportive though (which made me cry even more!)

neetie1 · 16/09/2015 14:25

Feel your pain aindy been back at school two weeks feels like about six

LittleAindy · 16/09/2015 15:39

Received this, after having a good old cry down the phone to OH about how crappy work is. I thought it was a great analogy. I'm sure many of you feel like this from time to time! (Have paraphrased the bit in brackets).

I really feel for you, you must feel really alone. I understand the pressure you're under, that's not adding the pressure of [home life]. Everything is stacked up. It's like a roll of tape, you want to start sorting it out but you can't find the beginning. When you do eventually find it, it tears off and you lose it again. I'm here for you, I'll be there for you tonight, we'll have something nice to eat, turn off our phones and have a chat. On a practical level I'll help you with anything that I can.

PrtyPsn · 16/09/2015 16:53

Awww that's really nice aindy
My foof is so mega fucked up - pink tinge on wiping... it's CD9!!!!! Cray cray!

Stripes1983 · 16/09/2015 17:47

Aww that's lovely aindy and high five on being in the now cycle trio! prty what's that about !? Dam crazy foofs !!

MummyBex1985 · 16/09/2015 18:24

(hugs for Aindy)

Work is shit at times isn't it? Had a crap day myself which was the last thing I needed after the red witch of doom arriving this morning.

Breaking my no-drinking-in-the-week vow tonight though and visiting my good friends Mr Pinot and Mr Grigio (DH is abroad as well, worst timing ever).

Pity party over now. Wine

Ellamorella · 16/09/2015 19:03

Gosh, we're all struggling this week. Good we've got this thread to console us, and make us not feel we're all paranoid, etc...

Bex sorry about the arrival of the dreaded AF! Mine's still spotting, but getting heavier, and going dark red now, so am assuming I'll be in full flow tomorrow. Does that mean we can be cycle buddies for next month? I'm on a 22-24 day cycle it seems, so would be due again in around 23 days (ish!)

Prty it could be ovulation spotting....? Apparently some people spot during OV. Maybe DYD tonight as backup?!

Aindy that's such a nice message. Wish my OH would be more like that. He's of the: it'll happen when it happens camp. It would really help if we could talk about it more. I might try and talk to him about it.

I also had a crappy day at work. Is anyone else finding that the arrival of AF is making to feel extra depressed and cranky? PMT is so horrid anyway. I don't need any more on top!!

kitten have you POAS? Sorry if I'm forgetting! Might be worth double checking.

neetie fingers crossed for you that this is your month!

tay13 · 16/09/2015 19:29

Thanks Aindy, I think all of us deserve some good news this month! Smile

Shary my sister is a bit of a bitch really... Today she messaged me to say she doesn't think I am meant to have kids being disabled and all. I reminded her I can live normally and up until 17 I was fine... Think I will ignore her a while.

Lol Prty I really wanted to punch my neighbour but then decided she wasn't worth it, she said a few things about me grieving for my Dad today... Seems on top form today considering I only lost my Dad 14 months ago!

Don't give up hope moo

I don't necessarily ovulate every month and with DH away there isn't much I can do if he's not around (bloody armed forces!) but found myself checking an ovulation thingy earlier.. If I am normal this month then I'll be most fertile this weekend, hoping DH can come home for a bit - mainly because it'll be the only time I can see him before wedding anniversary on Monday Smile I think I can safely say I was lying when I said I was taking a step back from TTC! Next month I'll be too busy faffing with a new knee to think about babies

MrsKittenPie · 16/09/2015 19:30

aindy - your oh sounds bloody brilliant. What a lovely message. Have a good evening together.
prty - your foof sounds as cray cray as mine - what are they playing at??!!
mummy sorry you've had a shit day too. Enjoy Mr Pinot and Mr Grigio - they are excellent companions Grin
ella - yes I've poas - in fact lots of them 'just in case' - I really am pathetic but I am so confused about my stupid foof. If it was a normal month I always feel really sad when af shows up but then as the cycle progresses get more optimistic but am totally in limbo now Confused

MrsKittenPie · 16/09/2015 19:33

tay - your sister is a bitch, what an awful thing to say, you should definitely ignore her. Fingers crossed for you for this weekend then Wink
