Hi (big wave)
So you clicked on here cos you were looking for me (I'm flattered!) or the title seemed interesting!
I'm aware it doesn't really explain but we are bunch of lovely ladies all TTC and going ever so slightly crazy with it! For more info see our original thread here - www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2412386-TTC-anxious-over-early-pregnancy-possible-symptoms?msgid=56357000#56357000

We are symptoms spotters extrodinaire - you name it we've had it, real and/or imagined Confused
We are here to help, we are all supportive, we laugh, rant, cry, joke, rage, smile, and comfort together. Be you a lurker or poster (established or new) then you are very welcome here. We only have a few rules:

  1. No judgement - we all lead different lives and have different standards and that is fine. You wanna get wasted everyday of TWW, that's fine. You wanna abstain completely, that's fine. We need support, not judgement.
  2. No feeling stupid - we've all had those months where we definitely think we are pg 110% convinced and then AF turns up, don't feel bad about it, it happens. Also we all have different levels of knowledge so no question is stupid apart from the one you don't ask.
  3. On this thread there is no such thing as TMI - we are all adults and we all know how miraculous and amazing... and downright disgusting our bodies can be, it's fine. Share what you want, we will not be fazed.

So that's it, jump in and FX'd for all my lovelies xx

Right, the magic lube and The Baby Bible is going on the October shopping list if September brings the evil one!

Let's keep this lucky thread going Star Star Star

SharyBobbins · 09/09/2015 19:17

Haha Aindy! Well I have the lube so I'll be buying Ella's book when AF arrives (expected in the next 48 hours :() I suspect Ella may actually be the author of the book!!

SharyBobbins · 09/09/2015 19:19

Prty any chance of a little bag of cadbury buttons to distract from my pre-AF cramp?!

PrtyPsn · 09/09/2015 19:24

(bares teeth)
Grrrrrrrrrrrr

OP posts:
SharyBobbins · 09/09/2015 19:25

PrtyPsn · 09/09/2015 19:25

Hello everyone! Haven't had chance to catch up on thread properly! Getting into the nervous wait of AF or not hopefully!! Should be here in the next day or two - eek! I promised I wouldn't get obsessive about it but Im failing badly!!

pinky17 · 09/09/2015 20:19

Hooraaaaaay! Annie!!!! So pleased for you! Totally agree, we used conceive plus, didn'the work the first month but did the second time round! Quite pricey and I only bought a small tube so was glad it worked, was getting my credit card ready to buy a second tube! Worth a try ladies!

Good work Annie great news!

pinky17 · 09/09/2015 20:20

I have wispa bites, any takers!?

SharyBobbins · 09/09/2015 20:23

Pinky how did you use the conceive plus?

PrtyPsn · 09/09/2015 21:10

(snatches Wispa bites and adds them to chocolate stash like an overprotective momma bird looking after her young)

Ellamorella · 09/09/2015 22:04

Haha! Promise I'm not Shary

I'm very ignorant here, can someone please enlighten me about these special expensive lubes??

I'll have the Crunchy prty I love it!!

I'm not on the dreaded 2WW and I'm symptom spotting already! Sore left boob, and weird cramping too early for PMT!!

Ellamorella · 09/09/2015 22:06

P.S. Yay, I'm excited to hear what you think of the book Aindy and Shary! I would recommend the actual book BTW. I bought the ebook first, but it's so much easier to flick back and forth with the real thing! Right, I'm off to do some Qigong meditation and visualisation of implantation (as recommended by the book!) x

LittleAindy · 09/09/2015 22:17

(lobs a multipack of Twirls through Prty's cage, and backs away quickly)

Ella what CD are you on? I'm on CD 19, and I had weird cramping too for the last 3 days. I also had it on CD18 last month (but it lasted weeks. I wonder if it's linked to Ov'ing?? Or just more cray cray foof behaviour.

Wonder Fx. Any symptoms??

LittleAindy · 09/09/2015 22:21

P.s. Is anyone on here veggie? I've been full veggie for the last 18 months and I wondered the other day if maybe my odd periods are linked with lack of iron, and whether I should take vitamin tablets?

Any thoughts welcome Smile

PrtyPsn · 10/09/2015 07:04

(gracefully leaps like a majestic salmon and swallows multipack of Twirls whole in one gulp, wrappers and all)
aindy meat eater here (and chocolate hehe!) but the only thing I would say is don't take a supplement with vitamin a in - too much can be really dangerous in early pregnancy

MrsKittenPie · 10/09/2015 07:46

Hi everyone!
annie - congratulations!
aindy - I'm veggie too - have been most of my life. There could be something maybe with lack of iron? I honestly don't know though - whilst ttc I've taken all sorts of vitamins and none seem to have helped but everyone is different.
Sorry I've not been on for a couple of days but thank you to everyone for your kind words about my bad experience at docs.
My af is 5 days late, bfns so it's nothing exciting but where the hell is my af? I feel like I'm in limbo as can't get geared up for next cycle as it's not working at all now Sad

MummyBex1985 · 10/09/2015 08:03

Aindy are you taking a conception vitamin? I'm pretty sure they contain iron. They also have the B vitamins that should in theory help to get your cycle back on track.

(Says she who takes them daily and is on CD28 with absolutely no sign of AF) Hmm

Pirsy1 · 10/09/2015 08:53

Aindy - sometimes heavy periods can cause low iron and anaemia, but don't think low iron because of diet can cause problems with periods if that makes sense?

Bex - do you know when you ovulated? Are you thinking of testing?!

I am on the late at work tonight. Normally I just lie in a bit longer but decided to get up at my usual time today and go for a run! Feeling very good now (and means I can justify eating more chocolate to myself later!)

Ellamorella · 10/09/2015 09:19

Aindy I'm on CD 18, although I tend to have a 25 day cycle, so even though i'm a couple of days behind you, we're probably due around the same time! We can be cycle buddies!! (Opens a huge box of Celebrations!!) Although I'm hoping I might be able to regulate my cycle a bit over the next few cycle, following the tips from my book. So I'm not going to test until CD 28, unless my AF has already arrived!

Yes, I wondered if the cramps could be to do with the egg travelling down the tube, rather than ovulation, as I'm pretty sure I ovulated, or attempted to anyway, around the 5th Sep.

Bex are you normally late? Fingers crossed for you!!

I'm a meat eater, and I'm taking pre-natal vitamins properly for the first time this month! I didn't realise how much they apparently help your chances of conception!

pinky17 · 10/09/2015 12:49

Am loving all the sweet treats flying around here although it'seems making me hungry!

Shary just used a dollop of conceive plus on oh's...... ahem..... before dtd. Like a normal lubricant. Seemed to work!

I'm off to tesco for foooood!

LittleAindy · 10/09/2015 12:51

shuts the Celebration lid quickly before Prty sniffs them out

Ella unfortunately I have longer cycles (I seem to have spotted a pattern where alternate cycles are 33 then 37+) so AF not due for another 16 days for me. But we can still scoff the celebrations (steals all the malteasers before anyone has a chance)

Thanks all for advice. I'm on a prescribed higher dose of folic acid but that's it atm. Seeing the doc next week to see what else I'm allowed to take with my normal meds.

Bex and Kitten sometimes no news is good news, so Fx'd for you both!

Still got these hip aches/thigh cramps, but last cycle proved that was nothing to be excited about. Haven't touched Google yet!

MummyBex1985 · 10/09/2015 18:52

Well my last cycle was 39 days so won't be testing for a while yet. And I have no idea when I OVd - best guess was 12 days ago but I may not have OVd at all. I literally have no idea! I don't feel remotely PG so I don't think it's my month.

At least I can enjoy the food and wine festival and ride plenty of roller coasters when I go away in a couple of weeks though so if I'm not PG there is at least a degree of up side this month! Smile
