Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

Hi!

I'd like to join you ladies. My husband and I have been together for (gulp) 12 years / married for 6.

Stats
I'm 32 and he's 37.

No children except our two cats :)

Since July we have been seeing what happens but we have been ttc for the last two cycles properly.

Its hard because this cycle I had to travel for work most of my fertile week- we got in a good shag the first and the last day. I'm not hopeful that will be enough but I’m now in the boring tww phase. I haven't had any symptoms except crushing headache on Sunday which has now subsided.

Gingers X for all of you testing soon / having your eggs collected, getting tested and bloods.

jellypi3 · 22/09/2015 10:18

Welcome london :) gx for you doing a kitten! :)

lil good luck today!!!

ChatEnOeuf · 22/09/2015 10:21

Thanks Jel and a beaut he is too!

Welcome London, the paw count is going up and up, excellent. I do hate it when work gets in the way - do you have to travel lots? And do you get to go to interesting places?

That's a bit annoying, Keep. Hopefully the FC appt won't take too long.

Hope there's lots of miniLils sitting in a Petri dish right now!

Aww yey! Congratulations ga !

Welcome london

lil gx!!

LondonGirl83 · 22/09/2015 12:39

I seem to travel about once a month for about a week at a time but it really depends. Some places I travel are more interesting than others. I go to New York at least a few times a year but I've been travelling to Ghana recently as my firm is in the process of opening up there!

I think I'm going to have to start planning my travel more carefully around my cycle going forward :)

lildottie · 22/09/2015 13:46

Just a quick update as I feel a bit pants....12 eggs but not sure if they're all mature.

jellypi3 · 22/09/2015 13:52

12 is good lil!, when do you find out if they are mature?

fruitlovingmonkey · 22/09/2015 14:06

lildottie · 22/09/2015 15:52

ChatEnOeuf · 22/09/2015 18:26

Twelve lovely eggs! Well done! Hope you're recovering okay. And hope Mr Lil's swimmers do their thing now! When will they make you PUPO? There a good chance you'll be POAS at my pee party?

pretzelpieces · 22/09/2015 18:58

12 eggs lil! How exciting! Good luck to you.

ain How did the appointment go today?

keep How frustrating for you. Flowers

Welcome owl and lg! I'm not really here except to wave fanjo flags in encouragement. relurks

lildottie · 22/09/2015 19:02

Thanks sock, don't cross your legs tho eh!

Mr lils sample was very good today so doing 100% ivf (disco dish), no icsi (where they inject sperm into egg).

Feel so sore and it hurts to pee. Dh couldn't come in as he almost passed out while I was writhing in pain from cannula/antibiotics being injected. I think it hit wall of vein so put lots of pressure on something giving me pins and needles in my whole arm and hand. I have a high pain threshold and could barely stand it. Dh had a panic attack!

chat the embryologist will call to tell us how many have fertilised tomorrow. If there are very few they will book et in that call. If not they culture them on to identify strongest. Last time we had 7 fertilise but on day 2 only 2 still growing so we went in for et that day.

YogaPants · 22/09/2015 19:17

Hope you are resting up tonight Lil!
Gx for you.

YogaPants · 22/09/2015 19:21

Keepatit · 22/09/2015 20:04

Went to the GP about 3 months ago now Keep and was referred to the gynaecologist. I have my appointment October 8th.

coribeth · 22/09/2015 21:39

Sad totally shit day today went to scan with my DD only to find that baby has no heartbeat completely devastated for her just heartbreaking the midwives where lovely but such a lot for her to take in ten minutes after finding out they gave us information with all the options when I miscarried the only thing offered was a d&c so wasn't sure how to advise her although reading through I think that maybe the least emotionally taxing options just wish I could make it better for her
