Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

 1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
 2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
 3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
 4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.
 5. Thou shalt not be offended by the word vagina.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also known as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit), or PIATLH (Tea light holder), PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage (Self explanatory, who wouldn't?)

ROC = Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Jizz in a bra = how we transport the jizz to the Sperm Queen

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband (or Cuntraband) = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

Skittletits - Killer molten painful tits and nipples

Ghost jizz/goat jazz - When the amazing foof sucks up all the jizz - achieved when coming at the same time/nearly the same time.

** and test taken with second morning pee

oneyorkshirepud · 06/09/2015 08:21

Congratulations Feathered, that's wonderful news! Poor over to the grads when you feel ready for hand holding, you too Fruit!

oneyorkshirepud · 06/09/2015 08:21
 • Pop!
5hell · 06/09/2015 08:39

yay feathered!! Grin
i think in the case of pre-boozy wedding checking, your early testing is ok

everything crossed for an uneventful 9 months for you...it is nerve-wracking and i have good days and days of awful pessimism, but all we can do is look after ourselves and hope

great shagging schedule too! ;)

jellypi3 · 06/09/2015 08:42

congrats feathered :) that's great news!

YogaPants · 06/09/2015 08:45

Congratulations Feathered!

Thanks for the POAS advice above. Analysis of EWCM was inconclusive this cycle (cd 16 and 21), so Wednesday it will be (if no af beforehand if course).

I am being put under pressure to book flight for a holiday to Italy next June with PILs next week. If TTC is successful this month (or the next 3), I may not be in a state to fly then. Do others have this admittedly rather first-world problem?

gaggiagirl · 06/09/2015 08:56

Congratulations feathered lovely news!

bellybuttonfluffy · 06/09/2015 08:57

Congrats Feathered, great line at 10dpo! Grin

I had a wonderful day yesterday. We had a 2nd birthday type party for my little one Ddog with the family and my brothers future in-laws. We all went a bit crazy with the ball pit we bought as his main pressie, especially future sister in laws pups were there too, and they are mental. I've not went completely bonkers, our dog is part of our family so it's only right we celebrate his birthday.

Actually quite enjoying the month of no charting and opks. DH has been more relaxed and is performing pretty well actually. We have shagged every three days, which is a big result for us! I still don't have much clue about where I am in the cycle, the one day bleed last week threw me quite a bit and I was feeling pretty low because I just don't understand my body. But I woke up yesterday morning and thought "fuck it", and now I'm just going with it.

fruitlovingmonkey · 06/09/2015 09:16

Fluffy that sounds lovely, does he like his ball pit? I took DDog to IKEA last week and I really wanted to pop him in the ball pool to see what he'd do. We also celebrated his birthday, with a special meal with all of his favourite people foods.
Star for the shagging and relaxing. Is it weird that we haven't shagged since the bfp? We are both scared because last time we shagged around the time the baby must've died I know that's not what caused it but struggling to fight the crazies

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 09:37

Congratulations feathered, lovely news. Really thrilled for you, try and relax.

Loving the dog parties. Grin nutters.

Feeling fed up, another rl baby bomb "our miracle", so assumed there was some sort of ttc struggle, nope, just got pg first month of trying. Lucky fuckers. Envy

Haven't done any shagging this cycle due to illness, can't really be bothered either. Feel like I need a month off from being disappointed but even if we miss fertile week my crazy mind will still convince me I'm in with a chance so guess I better just stop wallowing! Hoping to be so busy at work this month ill not notice the tww at least.

And I'm 33 this week

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 09:38

Do what you need to do fruit, not crazy at all.

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 09:40

yoga it's not what you want to hear but I turned down lots of lovely things as I was sure I would be pregnant. Turns out you just miss out. Book it, if you can't travel then someone else can go. Don't put things off in case. Obviously I hope you're pregnant soon and can't fly!

bellybuttonfluffy · 06/09/2015 09:42

Posted a video on the fb page of him fruit. He likes the balls but not really the pit. When the other dogs arrived they went a bit crazy. Doggy birthdays are the best Wink
If yous are both happy to avoid the sex for the time being then theres no harm in that. Hopefully this isn't going to be a shag-free 9 months for you though!

ChatEnOeuf · 06/09/2015 10:27

Congrats Feathered! I'm okay with you lovely lot getting upduffed - it's the unexpected ones I get wildly jealous of. Naughty early pissing though.

Yoga if you want to go on the holiday, just book it. You'll either have a lovely time (hopefully sporting a neat little bump), or you'll miss out on the deposit because you've got a lovely newborn...win win.

Just that's not a fucking miracle, it's basic biology. Fuckers.

NFMV: Nowt. 7(ish, probably) DPO and waiting for the crazies to hit.

OP posts:
FeatheredTail · 06/09/2015 10:38

Thanks all Smile Also nervous about the idea of shagging Fruit - for exactly the same reasons. Luckily DH thought his willy might drop off after all the shagging a couple of weeks ago, so may have put him off it for a while...!

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 10:39

watching extraordinary births, oh my!

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 10:40

Exactly chat, cunting show offs.

FeatheredTail · 06/09/2015 10:40

Just the "feeling blessed - our little miracle" lot are cretins. They may be reproductively lucky, but they are morons. JSers don't envy morons.

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 10:44

Also BIL (sort of) said yesterday when talkng about miracle baby "no one plans a baby do they? I thought it just happened". Hmm I just walked away sniggering bitterly.

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 10:59

They are a bunch of morons. There is a pg family member who is 14 weeks and has been sharing her "miracle" all over facebook, every fucking sneeze and fart is now worth sharing as she's pregnant don't you know. She's a fucking moron. Suspect the latest one will be too.
Unfortunately I am bitterly jealous of everyone who can get pg, it's not fair!

JustMeAndHim · 06/09/2015 11:31

Congrats Feathered!! Lovely news!! Did you have any symptoms to help fuel the crazy

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 11:34

Wow, those extraordinary birth ladies are a bit too alternative for me.

FeatheredTail · 06/09/2015 11:58

No symptoms (not suprising as only 11 DPO) other than being spottier than usual - and windier than usual (but that could have been a symptom of my impending dodgy tummy earlier this week). Hoping the needing to pee more than often will start soon as it's a sign HCG is rising.

Alternative births - the placenta!!!! Heaves

5hell · 06/09/2015 12:17

fruit I'm 11 weeks tomorrow and we've only done it maybe 3 times since bfp - first time this morning in a few weeks and I only let him put it half in! Poor dh, he's struggling a bit as he has quite a high sex drive, so have offered the odd bj Blush ...so no I don't think it's weird

feeling bad we never do anything for our ddogs bday...not even sure when it is (inherited them from MIL). he looked like he was having a great time though fluff ...mine would be over the moon if the pool was filled with plastic bottles!!

justtheonethen · 06/09/2015 13:24

Can we play what's for dinner? I have no inspiration. Also, any good packed lunch ideas?
