Hi ladies,
This is my first post. I'm looking for some advice/reassurance. I'm 29 & my hubby & I are ttc our first child. I had the implannon implant for 18months & had no period on it. It was removed Nov 2014, it's now almost sept & my period hasn't returned! Dr did tests & hormone levels normal! Advice would be appreciated, feeling so frustrated :-(

Hi August, try not to stress too much, I was on the depot injection and it took a year from my periods to come back, don't you wish they'd have told us this when we first had it, scary how powerful it all is. Anyway.. Keep positive, AF will wake up and show her ugly mug before long x

I know Lou... I was never told it might take so long for things to return to normal as I wouldn't have had it then! Anyway, thank you for your positivity and it's nice to know someone else experiened this too!

I had implanon for three years. Started taking conception vitamins as I heard they helped regulate AF and it came three weeks later.

You could also try agnus cactus, acupuncture and reflexology, as they're meant to help regulate your cycles.

It doesn't sound normal to me for your AF to be absent that long though so I'd start looking into the above.
