Ellie- so sorry about your losses. I have no idea how to interpret results but the biggest step is finding that consultant that will help you. Good luck and you're on the right track bring on this forum.

Trying- Good luck this morning!!!!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 09:38

I don't know! The ring from 11-6!?! So I'm anxiously waiting. If I need more intralipids or ivig I'll prob hear sooner I think...... I'm feeling quite weird and detached from it all. Me and dh have prepared ourselves for both outcomes and we will just go ahead with next round of Ivf if it's bad news today as soon as we can. I'm sure this bfp won't happen again, were still in shock it did in the first place! Will keep U all posted .

Have happy Monday's.

Did af arrive drttcc?
Hula hope this month brings u a strong bfp.

Drttc · 16/11/2015 10:12

Yes keep us posted Trying!

AF is due tomorrow and I've had very very light spotting the last few days. Hoping she arrives on time!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 10:21

Are u gonna do the Intrlaipids again?

The lady I spoke to today at reception was mega lovely and said this was her 5th pregnancy too and she was in her second trimester coz of Argc so she understood why I'm so panicked and like a woman possessed :) gave me a little hope!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 10:22

She didn't actually say like a woman possessed but I'm sure that's wot she was thinking

Drttc · 16/11/2015 10:31

Aww that's so encouraging Trying!

I've decided to do super ovulation instead of intralipids... Not sure what to expect as its all so new to me. Louise said to call on cycle day 1 so I guess I'll know more then. Have my Letrozole already and picking up the trigger shot later today... Will be an interesting cycle at least! Very curious as to what my follicle situation will be.

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 10:39

Oh interesting! I think ur a little like me (not as mad!!!) in that u like to know wots going on and hate being the dark (might have got that totalllyyy wrong) so u will prob find that side of SO reassuring. Fingers crossed for u!!
I know many people wouldn't like the daily/alt day hcg but I much prefer it this way rather than goin for a scan and being told it's looking bad. Least this way I know sooner when it goes wrong. I do know that even if it's ok it doesn't mean it will end up ok too!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 10:49

I'm 100% like you! Remember I went private to go have my hcg checked at 14dpo when most people said to let it be! I preferred knowing the numbers, researching the stats, and being prepared. If I'd not done that I would have assumed having no bleeding before my 6 week scan was a good sign... I was still sad to see nothing there but it would have truly broken me if I'd had no indication things weren't right for all the time. Definitely reassuring to monitor my ovulation. Once again, if things don't respond very well, I can prepare myself for potential BFN. Can't believe it's been 5 months (and 6 cycles) since my last miscarriage... So ready to see what's going on in there!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 10:54

I wish I knew what dpo I was when u got that 59. I was either 12 13 or 14......u were at 60 I think at 14dpo? And rosa was at 51 at13dpo-who knows what's an ok no...I tink I was prob 14, but might have been 13. Unlikely to be 12.

I wish they would call!!!

It will happy for u soon, I'm sure of it. If I can bloody manage it with the sperm and tnf u def can!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 11:42

Just looked it up and my hcg was 57. Of course I went off clearblue ovulation tests so it was never an exact science for me. Also my rise wasn't great, it came back at 94.9 two days later. It was right as the cusp so that everyone said they were unsure... Which was irritating!

They'll call any minute Hun!!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 11:44

I know it'll happen soon :( But lately I'm scared of what's going to happen even then! Finally starting to understand that we'll never feel truly 'safe'.

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 11:46

Ugh mine are not far off urs
59 to 101-although that wasn't a full 2 days after was 43 hours.
I'm clutching at straws aren't I.......I don't think many woman have 5 in a row esp
At my age?! What the hell is going on!!!!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 11:47

I know drttc, it's too much to handle. I think I'll give it 2 more gos with ivf at Argc and then seriously consider surrogacy....although not sure at all about that

Drttc · 16/11/2015 11:53

Mine was definitely at 48 hrs later... And I was being pretty much ignored by everyone (not receiving the amazing hands on treatment you are!!).

Don't think you're clutching at straws! I've had 4 in a row and I've only just turned 29... First one was at 26! I'm never getting healthier than I was at 26!! It's all a mystery... But we know there are success stories and many crazier than our histories.

I've thought about surrogacy as well. Not sure I'll ever give up on my body but surrogacy (or gestational carrier) is something I'd consider. Maybe even for #2 or #3 if we were ever that lucky. I've heard of women with RPL having success with their embryos in gestational carriers... So why not!

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 13:24

No call
No symptoms

Would they hurry up?!!!

Teakind · 16/11/2015 13:49

Hi Drttc, I'm doing the super ovulation programme. The second month hasn't worked but i'm hoping it will soon. Sorry to hear you have had four loses in a row. That must be really tough.

Trying- keeping my fingers crossed for you! This waiting must be driving you nuts!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 13:55

Hi Teakind- how long has it been since your last loss? How are you finding the SO programme?

Trying- maybe you should call them?

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 13:58

I did that last time and was told they can ring anytime from 11-6 and to wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 14:05

Oh right- I thought they were late for some reason. How about we all just show up with pitchforks and demand information? :-P

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 14:06

Haha! Me and dh would really appreciate that....they rang me at 4 on Friday with my 101 result and to add pred but at 11 on Thursday to say come in for intralipids.....so it's quite random. Need to chil

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 14:06

Chill out!

Drttc · 16/11/2015 14:46

I may be biased- but as a recurrent chemical pregnancy loss victim- I think this time up to being able the scan is the absolute worst. There's nothing to be scanned for reassurance if you're having a meltdown. Everything is so 'unknown' it's an awful way to feel- especially if you're a planner like we are!

Seekingmiracles · 16/11/2015 15:01

Thinking of you Trying Smile

I think I might consider SO also if nothing by 6cycles.... Then if still nothing we'll be heading off to ARGC for ivf too.
The only thing that puts me off SO is how many cycles it can take. How then do you really know if it was the SO or just a lucky month??

Hope you're ok Rosa, not long to go. Keep strong x

Tryingno1 · 16/11/2015 15:06

I thought the same about SO...it worked quickly for rosa, but took sunny longer. then sunny got preg without it?! But it makes sense surely if u have an extra egg u have more of a chance? There will be reserch on it if u look into it...must be some reason why mr s does it....

Agree drttcc, although I didn't think I was a chemical preg gal, I've had 2 heartbeats before but maybe I've become
One Confused

Drttc · 16/11/2015 15:25

Seeking and Trying- I thought the same about SO but I don't think it could ever actually delay pregnancy. I asked Louise and she didn't say the average was 5 cycles, just that usually by 5 cycles they've achieved pregnancy & it's just different for every woman. How can having more eggs and then triggering ovulation in any way delay things Hmm So after I thought about it... I decided it was only going to help. Also, I've read of women with chemical pregnancies actually using letrozole to increase egg quality. Oh and after hearing that Sunny fell pregnant after SO, I did more research. Turns out it's quite common for women to miraculously fall pregnant after attempting fertility treatments- You're another example Trying! So I thought perhaps it'll at least 'shake things up' in there, balance some hormones, and lead me to that rainbow baby :)
