8dpo I got bfp but all other tests negative

Hi all

I had an mc back in June. After one AF we started ttc. This month on 8dpo I tested because I had bleeding gums (1st symptom last time) and was bfp. Since then done two more and they're negative. Going crazy. Any thoughts?

Did you test at the same time each time (ie, was the positive first morning urine, what times were they taken?) - also, how clear was the line? Could it have been an evap?

Sorry you sufferered a miscarriage, it really is one if the toughest experiences in life to cope with. 8dpo is super early to get a result.
Are all the tests the same kind and therefore the same sensitivity? And did you use first morning urine for all?

Thanks for your messages. Miscarriage is one of the most horrendous experiences. I am so scared about it happening again.

I did the first test in evening it was positive. Next day I've done morning same brand was negative. But in evening very faint line again. Going mad.

I suppose I'll have to wait few more days. Seems like forever!

Hia, yeah the dreaded AF came on Sunday. It must have been a false positive. I should have known really because other than bleeding gums I have no symptoms. I really need to start letting it go! The first time (when I had mc) we were not even trying. I had just come of the pill and we thought we would leave it a few months, but instead I got pregnant straight away. I think if I try and distract myself it might actually happen. I'm buying my own business right now, so I'm putting all my energy into that as a distraction! xxx

Sorry. :( New business sounds good though. That is guaranteed to result in a BFP just to make getting it running more challenging ;)
