Sorry to all the people with af visiting. Especially rubbish birchy, fx for your second clomoid cycle.

I'm having a bit of a shit day. I've managed to keep things together with the newborns arriving but my nct friend told me today she's pregnant, with twins! I'm happy for her, her first was ivf as are these twins. I'm still not sure about a second, I would be shitting myself if I was having twins so I'm sure it's not jealousy. I know her pregnancy will be really tough but it's hit me really hard today.

I would just like to shut the world out and not have to deal with babies or pregnancies for the time being until I've either decided to not have another or an pregnant!

Quell · 08/09/2015 18:04

Urgh, he sounds awful!

I've just signed up for the clearblue trials (Google should bring up details). They provide you with ov testing kits and test your urine daily. If you fall pg in the three month trial they can measure your daily hcg and you get a ??50 voucher. Dh said the voucher is too much pressure Grin
Anyway- might be worth a go for some of you? If only for the free clearblue ov stuff!

Also I tested today (like a loon) at 9dpo. BFN. Shock . Can't pretend I'm not going to test again tomorrow but don't feel like this is my month as my mood has been very pmt like.

Itsme247 · 08/09/2015 19:32

Thanks for the love ladies! At least I am no longer a POAS or symptom spotting addict - i have now come to terms with the fact that both me and DH are fertility challenged..

We see the specialist in 5 weeks time then we think it'll be a treatment plan which should kick in by before Christmas. We don't know for sure but we think IUI for three cycles then into ivf if that's not worked.

I have had so many hopes over the last year or so of trying, planning how I would tell hubby of a BFP or how I would feel knowing we were about to start a family. I suppose I'm still a bit sad that if it's going to happen it'll be at a clinic with drugs, scans and needles but at least with modern medicine we still have a chance!

Lots of baby dust for the rest of you and hope it's a short ttc journey!

Belle8 · 08/09/2015 20:02

Ohh quell that sounds interesting do you know what sort of ovation product it is? Might give it a go myself next month! I think I'm 4-6 DPO but having quite a dull ache in my stomach so not sure if that's ovulation pains or what? I had loads of EWCM on Friday so assumed it was then but not sure what these pains are now.

Sorry for all the AF visits but at least you can look forward to a fresh cycle to get cracking again! Xx

coco808 · 08/09/2015 21:35

Itsme good luck with IUI/IVF. I'm so glad you have a consultant appointment and things will start kick in this side of Chirstmas. With a bit of luck you may get the best christmas pressie ever!!

Emzlou15 · 08/09/2015 23:09

Good luck itsme with the next part of your journey, a member of my family had IVF for their first child but their second they conceived naturally!

Ooo Quell I will have a Google and try and join that. Sounds right up my street at the moment with not having a clue what's going on with my so called cycle...

Sorry to anyone with AF just think you can spoil yourself rotten for the week and you have a good excuse!

Thanks for the advice ladies, I'll test in a week or two depending on when I remember to go out and buy a test and if no AF shows. Don't really have any pg symptoms though, am getting more spotty but that's about it that I've noticed. DH made a comment that I smelt like I was going to have AF... Could have hit him... Still no blood through today just creamy cm. No aches either. Usually I get major back and knee pain when coming onto AF.

Jellybean100 · 09/09/2015 05:33

Hi girls
I've been off this bus as last month I became a bit of a symptom spotter and wanted to be more relaxed this month... What a joke that was! I did try my best at the relaxed attitude but it's just not me.
I'm due to test on Monday 14dpo but I think I will test on Saturday.
I have the sorest boobs and had pink sporting at 5dpo which I'm sure is too early for implantation bleeding but don't know what else it could be. I'm also ridiculously tired. However I had all the pregnancy symptoms last month and AF still reared its ugly head so I can't get too excited.
Sorry to hear about AFs, this is such a difficult process isn't it, and WHY do people feel the need to tell you about how easily they conceived? It seems to be happening all the time at the moment and I just do not want to hear it!!

ChatEnOeuf · 09/09/2015 06:47

Kitty Flowers - I've had the twins bombshell too. Lovely friend, our DDs are only a week apart but my goodness it hit like a ton of bricks. I wouldn't turn down a pair...hell I wouldn't turn down any healthy baby. I miscarried twins just over a year ago so have form.

ItsMe Good luck with the IUI.

Thisisbonkers · 09/09/2015 08:43

Good luck itsme Flowers

weechops · 09/09/2015 10:47

Good luck itsme

Sorry for everyone having baby-bombs dropped on them! Worst one I had was just before I conceived ds2, I miscarried a baby early on. Literally 4 weeks later my 'sil' announced she was 3 weeks pregnant!

Anyone else get leg cramps when af is here? Mine are so painful!

KittyandTeal · 09/09/2015 10:57

Chat Flowers for you too. Same situation, our pfb are 6 days apart. I'm so pleased for her, her ds was going to be an only as her journey has been so tough but obviously this is great news for her. She said it's a bit scary (I'm sure the idea of twins is) and the first though through my head was 'I'll have one' fucking mental!

This whole ttc and pregnancy after loss thing sucks the big one!

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 09/09/2015 11:32

Oh no, guys... I've been hit with my first bout of TTC crazies... AF due today. No sign of it yet but I feel VERY pre-periody so I've pretty much resigned myself to knowing this isn't our month.

I always get really weepy the day before AF is due and ended up starting to cry during a frustrating conversation with my line manager at work yesterday. It was TOTALLY embarrassing and I think they were tears of frustration (at my line manager being a complete condescending moron and treating me like an idiot) but why do our hormones turn us into blubbering wrecks? Made me look even more incompetent. And then got myself worked up into a right state and cried all the way to my friend's house. What a complete fool!

I know it's not over until the 'red lady' sings, but I feel like I know.

Fingers crossed for you jellybean - you never know, sounds like that good be a good sign? Time will tell... Will be sending lots of positive thoughts your way on Saturday!

Hugs Kitty Cake - hope you're coping with the twin-baby-bombshell. You'll get there and it'll be OH-SO-WORTH-IT when you do and we'll all be here to celebrate with you! It can be a long road but how precious will it be for your baby to know how much it was wanted and longed for?

But good news... my ??50 Aldi vouchers arrived last night so as soon as AF arrives, I think I'll be treating myself to a cold glass of something grape-y and refreshing. Wine

Jellybean100 · 09/09/2015 19:53

When are you going to test toffee?

Thisisbonkers · 10/09/2015 08:34

So I'm not symptom spotting in my tww because I have none but I've been having some weird dreams this last week.

ToffeeAppleMarsBar · 10/09/2015 13:01

So... I was planning on testing tomorrow morning if AF hadn't arrived but curiosity got the better of me last night with the arrival of some internet cheapies... And I THINK I got a faint BFP!!!

I'm not getting my hopes up too much as I know sometimes you can get evap lines but a line definitely was there, faintly, within the 10 minute testing window.

Going to pick up a clear blue digi one today and take that test with DH tomorrow morning to hopefully see it in black and white.

I don't quite believe it or trust it at the moment. Especially as I felt SO PMSy. Am walking with a slight spring in my step though.

If I ov'd when I thought I did (not doing tests or temping) just using cycle averages, I'm 15dpo today.

we'll see what happens tomorrow morning... Keep your fingers crossed for me!

CarrotVan · 10/09/2015 14:37

Or get Superdrug own brand - great for early testing

Klaptrap · 10/09/2015 16:43

Well, I am out. Brown spotting and my temperature took a nosedive this morning.

ToffeeAppleMarsBar everything crossed for you! If it had colour (assuming it was a pink dye test) then I don't think it can be an evap line. Very excited for you! Keep us updated. Also, don't be hardhearted if the CBdigital is negative as I don't think they are that sensitive?

Jellybean100 · 10/09/2015 16:48

Everything crossed for you toffee!! I'm gearing up for my AF but there's a tiny piece of me that is still hopeful this month. X

3Princes99 · 10/09/2015 17:42

Sorry I've not been on to update
Af got me 5 days late and reared her ugly head on hubby birthday of all days!!

Newbie. on cycle 2 got AF yesterday but so upset my so called friend told people we were trying so felt extra stressed.

KittyandTeal · 10/09/2015 18:11

Tentative congrats toffee. My temp has dipped and I've had browny, pinky spotting today so I'm assuming I'm out. I'm only 8dpo but my temps are all over the place so I might be more like 13dpo. Who knows!

Sizzle1981 · 10/09/2015 18:21

Fx for you toffee! x
Welcome Usabrit. Why on earth did your so called friend tell! You said "people" which makes me think multiple. Are these also close friends of yours??

Usabrit · 10/09/2015 18:35

Her reason was she was excited Confusedshe told my dh's friend and his wife and their kids her bf is friend with them. I was so annoyed not her business to share.

Jellybean100 · 10/09/2015 20:11

I really wish I had shut my mouth and told absolutely nobody that we were trying but it's all anyone likes to ask you once you're married and I'm a terrible liar. Now so many people in work know I feel like I've jinxed myself.

ChatEnOeuf · 10/09/2015 20:23

Ooh, fingers crossed Toffee!
