Hey all,
I had a thread on this previous asking for advice on Lap & Dye surgery, I had mine yesterday and it was really simple, I'm feeling fine already, tiny bit aware of my mini wounds. I had it done about 10am ish and was going home at 5pm, haven't taken any further pain killers and slept well last night. So wanted to make some notes on it for anyone else awaiting one, feel free to ask any questions??
Our result couldn't of been better, they unblocked both tubes successfully so we are very happy! So its back on the horse as soon as we can, for next months cycle now.
One other part of my issues (or at least I think from speaking to a couple of professionals) is the mucus my cervix produces around the time of ovulation. I understand the ideal texture this should be but mine is MUCH more solid. It is totally impermeable. A friend of mine who is a doctor within the field has taken this comment seriously and advised that yes, cervical mucus can be a single form of infertility as it stands to reason that if there is a physical barrier in the way, its going to cause problems. Other doctors simply haven't listened and dismissed it.
Has anyone else any comments or experience on this matter. Before the L&D I saw it as eggs not having any way down and sperm not having any way up, so now we have one problem out the way I would like to explore this as much as possible.
Thanks!
