Is there any truth in how to conceive a specific sex?

I'm only asking really because I'm just thinking I'm bored that I know exactly when I conceived .

Dh and I dtd at night then i ovulated the next morning/afternoon .

According to internet theories I should have conceived a boy .

Is there really any science/truth behind that or is it just old wives tales ?

total cobblers is a better description. NO science at all. Random depending on which of your husband's sperm gets to your egg first.

there are large sections of the planet desperate to have boys, so desperate that they abort female foetuses or kill female babies as routine. If there were a foolproof method, humanity would have been using it long ago. and these places would have been extinct now rather than soon

yes, as I said it depends which sperm gets there first.

Gender is determined by the male, and this has been known to science for a very long time. So it is even worse that women are still suffering for 'only producing girls'.
