I had MC on 15th Jan and was pregnant again late March (1999) - not sure I had a period in between, either. So - yes? Good luck if you are

I did,I had a mc and a d+c at the end of May 1999 and by the end of June I was pregnant again.
The only advice I give is to go and see your Gp,just to be on the safe side.I had my pregnancy test done at my local chemist's and she mentioned that sometimes the hormones linger in your body for quite some time after the miscarriage, and that can bring a positive result on the test.So I went to the doc's and he did one and then made me go back for another a couple of weeks later.

Good luck I hope that everythings ok

Yes

lissiew · 24/11/2006 14:37

yes, desperately. ive just passed the anniversary of my 1st mc, my friends due date is the same as my 2nd would have been and the last 1 was just horrendous. i'm scared though. i don't know if i could cope with a 4th. still suffering pnd. sooo trying not to do test yet, all 3 were at 6-8 weeks i also carry gbs (see other thread)

Hope this is 4th time lucky for you. The 6-8 weeks stage does seem particularly vulnerable doesn't it. Makes you wish you could time travel forward and start to feel more positive.

lissiew · 24/11/2006 14:56

yes, its worse coz i FEEL pregnant when i am so i know from week3, with ds i bled at 6 weeks-15 weeks and i just want to know 1 way or another

yes I did, had a m/c at 15 weeks on 21st October was pregnant again by November 26th no period in between have a lovely little girl now.

I rang up the hospital and spoke to a consultant I was so convinced it was something to do with the m/c and hormones he told me it wouldnt give a positive result and congratulated me

good luck
