Does anyone know if having private IUI or IVF makes you ineligible for NHS IVF in Wales?

Thanks ladies x

I'm in south wales and having private treatment per se does not make you ineligible for NHS treatment. Other factors may make you ineligible - not sure exactly the criteria - perhaps age is one. Recently, I was told I was eligible for NHS treatment despite having private treatment.

I've heard that it doesn't make you ineligible but it can affect how many cycles they offer you.

Thanks so much both. The NHS process seems to be taking an eternity!
