Should I notify my work about being pregnant or should I wait until I tell everyone else?
I am a hairdresser, but do a lot of lifting of new stock etc..

Congratulations Mini!

It's up to you when to tell. If you think changes need to be made then yes, you should tell your employer (who should then do a risk assessment and make changes if necessary).

They should keep the information confidential (as far as possible).

My only problem is is that my work are very chattery haha, and I know that after one person knows all will, and I'm not ready for that

Do you work with chemicals? Are there any changes that will likely need to be made you your job? Have you been feeling faint and so are going to need to sit down more?

If yes, then tell your boss, they should keep it in confidence until you want to tell others.

If no, then it is up to you.
