Thanks ral and dizzy I'll keep taking them for now, see if the headaches subside with time.

Nomio230 · 30/07/2015 14:02

Boris, I have taken them lots of times before without any problems, but everyone is different. I wonder what is in them that gives some people headaches.

DizzyN, that is brilliant news! Hopefully now you can relax a bit. I would definitely try to persuade DP to have an SA. You could spend the next few months trying only to find out that he has a problem. It is unlikely given that he already has children, but things can change over the years. Sorry, that sounds a bit doom & gloomy, but if it were me, I would rather know!

DizzyN I'm ok thanks, had a great day with DP, DS & DF and off to a party tonight. Taking DS on a little steam train in the grounds - should be lovely. I was hoping you would get your bfp too, with any luck you'll be right behind us!

Nomio230 · 30/07/2015 15:40

Ugh, baby bombed. My cousin is expecting her second. I am happy for them, but I want it to be my turn!

Thanks for all the messages about my beauty business.

DizzyN so pleased your results came back clear.

Boris I took pregnacare when I had ds3 they made me feel a little sick for about an hour after taking them but other than that I was fine. I'm taking the seven seas ones this time.

My SI arrived today. I've decided that even though a positive this cycle would mean 3 children with a May birthday there's no point holding off for a month. Its taken this long and if I put off SI until next month who says it will do anything anyway. So SI from day 5-9 and using opks from day 12

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 30/07/2015 15:41

Oh and DH has agreed to the Vit C so I will be getting some of that tomorrow for him

MrsKittenPie · 30/07/2015 15:56

nomio ugh babybombs are just the worst. I hate them. We're going out next weekend with friends and I know for a fact there will be a babybomb, am dreading it so much I don't even want to go to the concert. I am not sure how I'm going to get through tbh - it's not fair Sad

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/07/2015 16:01

nomio sorry for the babybomb. That was me yesterday. Dsis is the first and only one out of my family's grandchildren to provide a great grandchild for our grandparents (of which we've got all four). I wanted it to be me next but got beaten to it :(

I wonder why pregnacare gives side effects? Surely they should have the same content as seven seas? SS has given me nausea in the past though, but I now take them before bed to avoid it.

beaut I would say crack on with the SI, would an extra month make much of a difference anyway? With that many birthdays in a month you would always have to budget in advance anyway! Smile

DP has agreed to the sa if we're still struggling in 6-12 months time which is fine by me, although I know where you ladies are coming from. I think deep down the problem must be that we simply aren't having enough sex at the right time! So we need to do some work on getting more shags in!

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 30/07/2015 16:16

Nomio sorry I missed the baby bomb. Everyone around me is pregnant. Although I've probably unintentionally baby bombed in the past. Blush

DizzyN you're right. Our anniversary is in June as well. Then DHs birthday in July so there will always be a reason not to try. We were going to have a break in March so as to avoid Christmas but didn't bother having any breaks in the end. Good job really

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/07/2015 16:46

Ah beaut you would be delaying for half the year by the sounds of it! Admittedly I was thinking about a break around November time if no bfp by then to avoid an August baby (dsis, Df and two grandparents birthdays, parents wedding anniversary.....list goes on plus don't want Dc to be the youngest in their school year) but realistically I'd hate to spend life wondering whether that might have been my month......

Anyway, af kicked in before lunchtime so I'm calling today cd1. New stats mummy:

Cycle#8, still aged 35, bfp due 2nd sept!

Forwards and onwards.....!

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/07/2015 16:50

Oh and for those of you who remember my 'when did I ovulate' dilemma earlier on in the month when ff kept changing my date....it was wrong in the end! Going by af arriving today I would have ovulated on cd19 which means we hadn't dtd for two days Hmm

Nomio230 · 30/07/2015 17:22

That is annoying DizzyN. It is really good that you have spoken to DP about the SA though, and now have a plan. Sorry AF has hit you, but at least you can move on to the next cycle. I hear August is a lucky month!

Beaut, I feel that way too, everyone around me seems to be pregnant. Sad

DizzyNorthernBird · 30/07/2015 18:04

That's ok nomio as I've suspected for days that it was on its way Smile.

Had to sack off my run this evening because of cramps. Ugh.

DrGee · 30/07/2015 18:10

Has anyone tried the Boots own "Conception" vitamins? I'm assuming they're very similar to the Pregnacare versions - any side effects experienced? My impression so far is that they are obviously designed for horses (need breaking into two at least!) Grin x

Nomio230 · 30/07/2015 19:39

I have had them before, Dr. I know what you mean about the size! I am a tart when it comes to conception vits, i will buy whatever is on offer!

I just booked the tickets for my graduation ceremony. Woohoo!

OP posts:
DrGee · 30/07/2015 19:45

Nomio I am the same! Grin I'm blindsided by 3 for 2s! Seem ok so far, to be fair I'm actually still out of action in terms of ttc as still waiting for Mirena coil removal after effects to die down (oh the blood), been ages Confused

Graduation! Congratulations! They are the just one of the loveliest experiences Smile x

RalucaMorena · 30/07/2015 20:03

Yep! Just checked now about his&hers...so I think tomorrow is the day I'll buy them. Dh only has vits for tomorrow so perfect excuse to buy them! Blush

Nomio230 · 30/07/2015 21:21

Thanks, Dr. I am really excited!

I am so tired today I can't stop yawning. It is clearly a sign that I am pregnant. Grin

Hairstylisttoboris · 30/07/2015 21:23

nomio how exciting!
And definitely a symptom.

MrsKittenPie · 30/07/2015 21:28

nomio - my bfp twin - that's definitely a symptom Smile - we're on the way to our bfps!
dizzyn - sorry for af but now you've had those good results I reckon your bfp will be this cycle

BabyBumpHopeful · 31/07/2015 03:41

DizzyN AF came today for me too! Talk about cycle twins! I must have ovulated a couple of days later than I thought...

Hairstylisttoboris · 31/07/2015 07:13

Sorry for AF bbh

Kirjava · 31/07/2015 07:17
