Woolly I got my bfp last month but still hang around on here waiting for more bfp's.

Hope AF stays away for those due to POAS soon.

Kirjava · 19/08/2015 10:24

eskimo glad you've got your holiday to look forward. When do you head off? We're all here for you Wine

loopylou1984 · 19/08/2015 11:08

Hi girls, I'm still lurking and will catch up tomorrow night when I'm home alone.
Just wanted to say a quick welcome back to Woolly! Xx

eskimoflo · 19/08/2015 11:09

Head off on Sunday! Thank you Smile Not holding out much hope for the next round of clomid TBH, but I think that if it doesn't work, they might try gonadotrophine injections, and from what I've heard, these are more effective! Smile

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 11:55

Pixa I am horrified but not surprised at the questions you have had. With my mc so many people said “Is it something you did wrong?” it hurts so much to think people really believe you would deliberately let your growing baby die!

eskimo I am so so sorry that the clomid hasn’t worked, I thought there was nothing Clomid didn’t fix. Big big hugs xxx

Beaut symptom spotting is a must, I heaved in a bin at 1DPO and called it a symptom Grin

Nomio you have exchanged!! Wow, happy new homing Grin

Woolly lovely to see you back here!! We have all missed you!

Boris sorry for AF hun Sad

And yes, I am expecting twins, I had a scan yesterday at nearly 7 weeks to check baby was ok due to some spotting and they turned the screen round to show me two beating hearts!!! I put the picture on the FB page but just in case some of you didn't see it even though I am in complete shock and I've flashed it all over MN I shall post my picture here Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 11:58

Hope you all don't mind me sharing it Grin

Welcome to Bumsnet-home of talking crap, speculating about Blairgowrie & hopefully a few BFPs!
loopylou1984 · 19/08/2015 12:06

Congratulations mummy!! That's so exciting Smile Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/08/2015 12:16

Ps. I can't see the pic as am on the app, but are they identical or non identical? Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 12:18

Won't know until they grow a placenta each or share one. I have looked online and the way the sacs look 70% of pregancies like that will be fraternal and 30% will end up identical. So will wait and see! Though this does make me a high risk so will be consultant led and will not have the magical home birth I envisaged!

lilygirl81 · 19/08/2015 13:01

Mummy congratulations and wow! Do you have twins in the family? Hopefully you can get a good consultant led birth, though shame about the home birth

I will always remember when I had my first MC that my normally wonderful mum said it was really for the best and I should be relieved not upset (we had been ttc for 4 months). The comments you can get are so hurtful and make the whole situation feel so much worse. It was after my MC that I found how wonderful forums like this are, where people actually understand the pain.

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 13:03

lily no twins in the family - was the thing I expected the least !

loopylou1984 · 19/08/2015 13:28

Oh really? I always assumed you'd know straight away from the scan, that's interesting. Will you update us when u find out? Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 13:36

I will do if everyone is happy with that, have my 12w scan on 29 September Smile

RalucaMorena · 19/08/2015 15:12

Wow mummy! You need to give lessons on how ttc for twins! :) are you 37-39 by chance? My dh is Worried as hw read that I'm in this interval and is possible to get twins Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 15:42

Ral I am 23!!! We just DTD EOD ish and used the mooncup. DP was on Wellman vits, myself on pregnacare TTC ones. Didn't bother with epo that cycle. Just a random fluke! They are measuring 2 days apart at the moment so could be two eggs but even identical ones can measure differently.

RalucaMorena · 19/08/2015 15:57

Wellman check; pregnacare check; dtd check. .. 10dpo and afraid to test

chopsface · 19/08/2015 16:11

rainy and threebean your names are on the list of hacked passwords!

Rainy34 · 19/08/2015 16:18

Congratualtions Mummyofonesofar cant believe you are having twins!!

Wooly lovely to see you back, hope your stay is short for good reasons!!

Spinning i see my name is on there too, have reset my password too!!

thanks chopsface i have just looked at the page and saw i was on there, iv reset my password so hopefully thats an end to it!!

DizzyMerry · 19/08/2015 16:20

My names on 6 times! I've changed my password twice and I don't duplicate passwords on other sites. I set up a new email when I joined MN and that password is also different so feel a little better now.

Eskimo have you heard from your consultant yet? Rather than increasing the clomid dose ask them if there is anything more effective which they could give you?

Fx for you ral.

Hairstylisttoboris · 19/08/2015 16:41

The hacking list is worrying. I log in with my email address and password, it worrys me that my email address might be vulnerable and might link me to conversations of CM ...

Anyhow no spotting yet so AF technically not here yet.

eskimoflo · 19/08/2015 17:31

Congrats Mummy Smile

Dizzy No, haven't heard anything yet. It's always the consultant's secretary that I speak to though, as she relays messages from him, so any enquiry I make could take a while to be answered! Hmm

Boris FX for you x x x

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 19/08/2015 17:53

Eskimo enjoy your holiday. At least something is being done by the doctors to make sure you ovulate as I know so many people that get fobbed off. I don't know about what other options there are I've only heard of clomid but if you don't feel like it's ever going to work for you then I would ask for whatever else is available. Fx for you.

Boris sounds promising fx for a BFP

Mummyofone what does your DH think about twins was he equally as shocked. You were so lucky.

I don't know why but of all the vitamins and things I've tried I just feel that pregnacare does something although I'm not sure whatGrin

7dpo here no feelings of implantation no twinges nothing. I felt sick all day yesterday and felt sick when I woke up but feel fine now. I feel like I'm peeing more often but I think that every month. I expect Af will show up. The witch is due a week today

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 19/08/2015 18:06

Ral ooh fx for you too

Mummyofonesofar · 19/08/2015 18:08

beaut he welled up when I showed him the scan and he realised there are two. He is very excited.

spinningirl10 · 19/08/2015 19:36

Mummy, it's so lovely to have such happy news on here, twins are truly a miracle Smile

Boris, everything crossed here that af stays away for you.

Eskimo, I really hope they have another option for you other than the clomid. I would ask what else is available. Pleased you have a lovely holiday to look forward to and then you can come back refreshed and ready to start again!

Sammy, how are you? Is it September that you're having your ivf cycle? Sorry if I've missed you saying this. I'm so rubbish at keeping upSmile
