IVF Southampton

Has anyone recently had IVF at Southampton General. About to book my first appointment and hearing nightmare stories about waiting lists etc.

Hi alice do you mean the princess Anne hospital southampton? I have just waited about 5weeks to get a first appointment through with the fertility clinic (just an initial consultation through the nhs). Not sure if that reflects waiting times overall though, sorry I can't help more. Will be interesting if anyone else has experience though, so hopefully my comment will bump this up :)

I would imagine it might be the same everywhere. It's taken me about 3 months to get an initial consult in Basingstoke which is the same trust I think. Have to be patient I suppose!
