Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Aaaaargh! Fine! I can't take the pressure! Lol Grin DH has gone out in the rain to get a test to satisfy you ladies - I don't have any urine left in my body right now though, so I don't think I'll be updating any time soon....I'm totally expecting a bfn though x

LetThereBeCupcakes · 27/07/2015 20:55

Well start drinking, woman! Grin

lostindubai · 27/07/2015 20:56

Congrats wax and fx ava!

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 20:58

Anyone else on the edge of their sofa?

OOooo! a live POAS moment. How exciting.

Good luck Ava! I'm doing my BFP dance for you!

To whoever asked: Wendy is the pharmacists on the breast feeding advice line. I'm going to ask her about progesterone. Although, having been on all manner of hard core antibiotics for a 10 days when DD was 4 months (appendicitis) which i fed through (initially they told me not to, and were most put out when I refused) I'm fairly relaxed about all this stuff.

Anyway, back to you Ava...

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 21:04

Hah hah! Yes a live announcement indeed! Who knew Monday night would be so eventful Wink

Dougal...it was me. Thanks Smile I've not heard of the breastfeeding line before. How did I miss that?! lol

Oh! I thought we were talking about the Wendy that breaks up friends...

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 21:14

The Wendy that breaks up friends? Utterly confused now Grin

I may have to dive into a Club Mint whilst waiting for the results!!

Lol Cupcakes Smile

I have never been under so much pressure to pee in my life! At this rate I'm going to be more disappointed for you guys than myself, and I'm totally not expecting anything other than a bfn. It's bizarre to find myself the source of Monday night entertainment though lol Grin

DougalTheCheshireCat · 27/07/2015 21:36

Ava I'm now thinking you should wait and pee in the morning for top quality pee...

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 21:40

Sorry ladies....

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 21:41

Bfp?

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 21:49

Yes! Massive congratulations Ava!! I will miss you loads and I'm very Envy but also very pleased for you Smile A late March/early April baby is it? Congrats xx

OP posts:
AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 21:56

April 2nd - feels so weird to actually be posting that after months of contemplating imaginary beans' EDDs! Honestly don't think it'll feel real until I poas on Friday with my digis...or see actual proof in the form of a scan....

Have any other graduates, especially those who have ttc for ages (like us), felt absolutely terrified rather than overjoyed when you finally get that coveted, elusive bfp??!! Shock

DougalTheCheshireCat · 27/07/2015 21:57

YAY! Congratulations Ava. Amazing. Maybe we should all ditch the charts, thermometers and pee sticks immediately!

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 21:59

Dougal you make a good point although Ava roughly knew when she was OVing.

waxweasel · 27/07/2015 22:06

CONGRATULATIONS AVA!!!!! Flowers I am so so thrilled for you! So we were cycle buddies, and now BFP buddies Grin hurrah!! You are due 1 week before me Smile

Absolutely couldn't be happier for you. Will you tell DD? I told mine at the same time as DH, mainly because she accompanied me to POAS so there was no playing it cool. Her immediate reaction was 'open tummy please mummy, want see baby sister' then 'baby sister name Boy'. Er, ok then.

waxweasel · 27/07/2015 22:06

And that's an impressively strong line!

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:08

I think I may have proved that -

A) the more relaxed approach might actually work (who's sister said recently that charting might be what's holding them back? Wink)
B) sperm can live for up to 5 days Shock
C) opks can be a substitute for a hpt when there's no other option Grin
D) you only have to do it the once - who'd have thunk it??!! Hmm

Please, like Pear's title encourages, send positive vibes! Crossing everything it's a sticky!!!

ispyfispi · 27/07/2015 22:11

Oh wow Ava, congratulations, this is huge news! I rather thought this would be your month!

AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:12

Thanks Wax! I said we were twins a couple of cycles back! And your DD sounds so much like mine Grin she actually hasn't long fallen asleep Blush so she shared the total amazement excitement with DH and I, but she wanted to hold the test. "Er, you don't want to play with this, darling..." Confused

peardrop2 · 27/07/2015 22:16

Starting to panic as I really am feeling the opposite to the 'relaxed' approach this month Confused

OP posts:
AvaAmulet · 27/07/2015 22:17

Thanks everyone Flowers The line appeared as soon as the urine hit again. DH is super proud of his beat-the-odds swimmers Hmm Grin

God, the irony that this hopefully my month!!!! Confused
