Peardrop - age 33, TTC cycle #9, DS is 26 months (stopped bf soon to be 4 months ago). Af returned when DS 14months, currently on CD14 and have had 4 flashing smileys. Praying for a static smiley tomorrow! Dangling legs in air!

Going to try and dtd again this afternoon as DH has the day off. Think that will be us done for the month. Feeling a little bit positive that this just HAS to be my month!!

Nothing to report here. Busy enough at work which stops me dwelling. Although I am trying to figure out how soon I can test. I'm desperately impatient so have somehow talked myself back from 12DPO to 8DPO. Somebody save me from myself.

Elle - do not do it!!!! Wait until 12dpo. Stay strong and save the money and disappointment!! I'm going to wait until the morning of 13dpo this time. I made it until 11dpo last month.

5 DPO. I will try to be strong. Will try to think of the lovely things I could buy with money wasted on early HPTs.

Can someone tell me - with ovulation tests is it best to use fmu?

Thatsnot, my ov tests (Cheapies) say not to use fmu, they say 10am to 8pm. The fancy cb dual hormone one I wasted £29 on once said to use fmu but that tests for eostrogen as well... I guess it depends what brand... What do the instructions say?

So I did something stupid, I told ff to ignore my 2 low temps from my 4am starts and the one random spike I had near start of cycle and it gave me ov day of cd20.... Making me 6dpo....but I know you're not supposed to ignore temps so wishing I didnt do that! totally making myself crazy with the temping, quitting next cycle! Someone remind me to stop at next AF... If anyone's still here when I get my AF - this is the super mega lucky thread lol!

Leamice I will go and read the instructions, they're cheapies too. Just had something that looked a lot like ewcm today but I'm sure it's probably not.

Funnily enough I'm happy as got AF today, so maybe my cycle is regularising...First cycle post baby was 8 weeks and this time 5.5 weeks, so bit better. Ds has finally started to sleep bit better so Im trying to get down to a morning and bedtime feed tho he always wants to snack when I come in fm work!!

Any tips on cutting gently much appreciated. He's 14months so we are offering normal milk mid afternoon but he makes a face!! Is 2 feeds plus a bit of normal milk and lots of other food ok at that age do you think?

It looks as if Agnus Castus is ok when bf but maybe ill see what happens with the feeds first.

Clara your feeding routine sounds like mine. My DS feeds when he wakes up, at nap time on days off or after work on work days then before bed. He has milk on his cereal but quite likes warm cow's milk in a silly cup, have you tried it warm? Glad to hear that it looks like your cycles are sorting themselves out.

I just did a ov test and got the faintest of lines. Like a real squinter. Wonder if it's worth carrying on to see if it gets stronger?

Thats, I would keep testing (perhaps just using the cheap tests for now) but maybe every other day? I think some people always have a faint second line but I don't. For me I think it took nearly 6 months from when I saw ewcm until I got my first period and I could feel hormone levels rising and falling and not ovulating before I finally did. As your DS sounds like he is feeding less than mine it might happen much more quickly for you.

Thats- just remembered you've come off the pill too. Think a similar thing happened for me when I came off the pill but wasn't taking ovulation tests at the time.. hoping it is the start of your cycles!

Thank you decided I'm going to wait until after my first period or I'll drive myself mad. Hopefully a sign that things are starting up again though. I'm not in a rush and have to remind myself that!

Clara - same here in terms of feeds, morning night and maybe a quick one to settle if he wake in the middle of the night. I work full time so nothing during the day. He won't touch cows milk in a cup though. Lets it run out of his mouth and laughs. He'll have it in cereal though.

Probably best to wait til after your period to start regularly testing, rather than frustrating yourself, but no harm in casually trying anyway - you might get lucky!

That's - I get a second line squint for the first 2 weeks of my cycle with ics. It gets darker the closer I get to ovulating and then on ovulation day the two lines are the exact same shade. I agree with April and think as you have no idea when you will ovulate that you should try testing EOD or you'll end up feeling like you're poas all the time. Checking for cm is more key IMO.

I'm currently on DPO2. I was going to dtd last night as I still had ewcm yesterday but DH said he was too tired and was up for work early so it just wasn't feasible. I hope that dtd on both peak days was enough. You'd think so. Now for the 2ww. I don't think it will be too bad waiting this time...I say that now. I think the second week will be v slow! Anyway, I'll come back in a few days to see how everyone is getting on

Happy 2ww Pear, hope it goes quick for you and brings you a nice bfp at the end. Then you'll be needing the maternity gear lol. Could be a subconscious sign that your eggo is preggo? Haha!

Thanks for the advice, I tested last night and it was a tad darker. So I will have another go and a few days as the curiosity will get the best of me I'm sure!

I did try temping when was ttc last time but too lazy/didn't work for me. So in past I went by cm as best guide to when I was ovulating but haven't had much at all while bf. Do you know if that means cycles are anovulatory?

Ah that's good, maybe he'll start drinking a bit more now. You could always add nesquik

ICs are Internet Cheapies as in the cheap dip sticks off Amazon, eBay Etc - you can get lots for very little money so great if you love poas but they're not the best quality so will have you staring at squinter lines that are not real lol.
And yay for your DS drinking some cows milk- progress :)

Does anyone know how to speed up time and then rewind the clock? 4 dpo I didn't even make it to 4 dpo before becoming impatient.

I reckon I'm now 9 DPO. The urge to pee on something is overwhelming! I'm going to try to wait 'til Wednesday at least. Don't feel remotely pregnant though so think it'll be a BFN this month.
