Cyclogest-when to test? Can't cope with bfn

I'm on cyclogest for suspected luteal phase defect. First month. I've been ttc for ages and have some really traumatic losses at quite late terms. So as much as I want to be pregnant again, I'm also shitting it. I can not handle seeing a bfn but know I will need to test as cyclogest delays period. When shall I test? 14dpo will prob be next Monday. If I just stopped taking cyclogest would I come on if I wasn't pregnant? docs haven't been super helpful

I'm sorry the fertility doctors aren't being helpful. That's awful.
If I were you I would get a blood test at 14dpo rather than do a home test. A blood test will likely be much more accurate at that stage than a home test, and it would give you some peace of mind with regards to continuing taking the meds.
I don't know about cyclogest by the way, so don't know how long you're supposed to keep taking it (but I've got a LPD and have just started on progesterone pessaries which the fertility doctor told me I should keep taking until my period arrives. If however I get a bfp I should continue taking it for the whole of the first trimester.)
If you have a sympathetic GP who understands anxiety or other mental health issues, you could ask them for a blood test on 14dpo, explaining your issues re previous losses and confusion about the meds. If you don't have a sympathetic GP do consider paying for a private blood test. It'll be a once off right now and may help alleviate your worries.

I'm on utrogestan 200mg gel capsule, one twice a day, vaginal. I figure they are all mostly the same regardless of the brand-name, it's just the dosage which changes?
