Reinstating the gin deck from a previous bus for AF arrivals, and stocking up on pineapple juice and Brazil nuts, fx for lots of BFPs this month.

Aww thanks Nomio

eskimo that is good, I won’t bother telling him about the act yet then!

Auf that is a good point! And funny it got shouted out! DS panicked the other day because he found a lump “down there” I had a peep and explained he has two of those lumps in there are the testicles and the sack is the scrotum but I had always called the whole lot testicles which isn’t right!

Nomio230 · 22/07/2015 14:29

I took my oldest nephew swimming one day when he was about six & he asked me what the dangly things on his willy were called. My mind went completely blank, then I just told him "balls...people call them balls"! Afterwards, I explained the real name & that they helped make babies, but I felt so guilty for not answering properly the first time. Blush

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 15:04

Haha Nomio great story! Glad I am not the only one who freaks out - I wish they had an awkward question warning before they blurt things out so we have time to gather our thoughts!

loopylou1984 · 22/07/2015 15:12

I had an awkward question when on holiday with 2x dniece and their friend. Ages 7, 4 and 5.

Dn7 : I'm not having a baby, I don't want the pain when u push it out your bottom

Dn4 : baby's come out of your tummy

Me: (while giving dn7 a look) yes they do

Friend5 : but how do they get in your tummy

Me: who wants a lolly/swim/sweetie/bag of crisps (anything else I could think of to distract him)

Yes I chickened out, but I had no idea how much his parents wanted him to know... Or what they had been told already!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 15:32

sammy I think you did right chickening out! Sometimes I think things are better left unsaid! I am glad you are all here to tell me I am doing alright. hugs all round!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 15:40

Oh and I am pretty sure I missed at least one stats update during my weekend off - really sorry Blush

sammy I know you can't update yet so will leave yours as it is.

Everyone else please check STATS Also I have had a bit of a clear out of names that have only posted once or twice - if they reappear they can be readded.

eskimoflo · 22/07/2015 15:59

My age needs updating- I'm 33 now Hopefully this will be cycle 1 (!) although we'll have been trying since November... Hmm

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 16:04

eskimo can we guess at a BFP date? So we can add you to the stats for the first time ever Grin We can guess you will ov CD14? Because we will be cheering your eggs on and one HAS to come out on 100mg!

eskimoflo · 22/07/2015 16:09

Hmmm, Mummy I'm not sure... don't want to tempt fate. Tell you what, If my CD21 tests show that I've ovulated, I will let you know ASAP when I'm testing. Deal? Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 16:10

Ok deal Grin

bananafish81 · 22/07/2015 16:16

Hi Mummy

Newbie stats Smile

33, TTC #1, cycle 2

Not sure what to put for the BFP column, unless you lovely ladies have a crystal ball (in which case let's start up a business, this time next year Rodders, we'll be millionaires, lol)

Depends if I lay an egg this month and if so, when! :)

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 16:23

No probs banana have added you on Grin

Have just had a huge amount of creamy cm on visiting the bathroom, got excited that this is different but checked through my charts and I get that on 6DPO every month Hmm Must find a better symptom! I am very itchy all over, head, back, tummy - could this be a sign or do I have fleas?

chopsface · 22/07/2015 16:33

We called it a fanny, yuck. My friend has told her kids that daddy gives mummy a seed which grows in her tummy. I like that one and might use it! My neice wanted me to go on things in the park on Sunday. I said I needed to be careful coz of the baby in my tummy. She said she didn't THINK she had a baby in her tummy so that was alright, she could play. Luckily it didn't lead to any questions about how baby's get into tummys. I would have directed her back to her mummy for that answer lol!

Nomio230 · 22/07/2015 16:42

That is so cute, chops!

Eskimo, if I take my Clomid days 2-6, I ovulate on day 15. Hopefully you will too!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 16:53

Cute chops !!

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/07/2015 17:47

eskimo you are getting closer :) Thoes drugs are performing miracles as I type.

chops so cute

mummy I also now have loads of creamy cm. Our cycles are definitely in sync.

bananafish81 · 22/07/2015 17:58

I'm not holding out too much hope in alternative woo woo with no actual evidence other than other nutters like me women's accounts...

...but I am taking inositol, plus soy isoflavones CD2-7, again in case they did have anything at all to do with my thoroughly unexpected ovulation

Expecting nothing until we start Clomid, but will be pleasantly surprise if I do lay an egg!

RalucaMorena · 22/07/2015 19:30

Well, no af yet
Let new know if you still need my stats.

Hairstylisttoboris · 22/07/2015 20:09

Yeyy for no af ral

banana sounds like you are doing all you can now to coax that egg out.

Nomio230 · 22/07/2015 20:35

When are you due, Ral?

Pixa · 22/07/2015 21:20

Hi lovely ladies!

Just dropping by to say thank you after my infertility meltdown. Hope you are all well. Huge congrats to DizzyN.

I hope you don't mind, that even though I won't be on the same journey as you all, I will still stop by and lurk!

Fingers crossed for your BFPs soon.

MadameLeota · 22/07/2015 21:31

loopylou1984 · 22/07/2015 21:48

Pixa - I'm on a couple of different infertility threads, one called 'infertility rant' which is fairly quiet. And a busier one which is called 'anyone starting IVF soon? Come join me (3)'

You're more than welcome to join me. Xx
