Reinstating the gin deck from a previous bus for AF arrivals, and stocking up on pineapple juice and Brazil nuts, fx for lots of BFPs this month.

Pixa, what is your next step? Can anything be done to help DH, or will you look into adoption? I hope you are doing well.

I think it is definitely your BFP month, Boris & Mummy!

Hi Madame, I think keeping busy is the best idea throughout the TWW, otherwise it drives you crazy!

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 21:55

Nomio you are well and truly overdue yours!!

Pixa · 22/07/2015 22:03

Thanks all. Sammy I will pop along and join up! When does puppy arrive? Ours has been a complete menace, DH has just taken her out for a bed time walk because she has decided to be completely hyperactive.

Nomio We went to see my Doctor, who referred us to the clinic so se are just waiting for an appointment to come through. That's when we will start investigations to see if it will be possible for us to have a biological baby. My doctor has also already started some of my investigations, so I have had my day 21 bloods. On top of that, we are going to an adoption event in a couple of weeks. Before we run down one route, we want to make sure we are as informed as possible about all of our options.

I won't lie, the past week and a half have been so difficult and so sad, but there isn't a lot we can do about it at this stage. We have started telling family and friends openly; we would much rather lose some privacy but gain some sensitivity from people than hear those "when are you having children?" remarks. Our employers have been really supportive, friends and family have been great, but we are struggling day to day to actually accept the fact that we won't conceive naturally. We do hope its a simple blockage, but realistically, it's unlikely.

Anyway, this thread is a place for positivity. I predict at least 4 BFPs in August on this thread. I am happily stocking up on gin for you all. Grin

DizzyMerry · 22/07/2015 22:15

Lovely to see you pixa. I can't even begin to imagine what you must be going through but just want you to know we are all here for you. I will keep everything crossed that it is just a simple blockage.

A lot of you lovely ladies are well overdue your bfps and I can't wait to see you get them.

Mummyofonesofar · 22/07/2015 22:31

Pixa good luck at the adoption information day. I really hope that it is as simple as a blockage. It must be hard to comprehend the struggles you are going through. We are here for you xxx

eskimoflo · 22/07/2015 22:44

Piiiiiiiiiiiiiixxxxxxxxxxxxxxxaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Good to see you, we have all been worried about you. Flowers Flowers And there is no way you are stepping off this bus lady. Angry I am purposefully standing in front of the doors so that you can't get off! Sit down please. We are all on different journeys and no one journey is the same here, so you're stuck with us, I'm afraid. Now, do you want gin or Nutella? Grin

Nomio230 · 22/07/2015 23:00

Well said, Eskimo! Pixa, I am really hoping your DH just has a blockage & it can all be fixed. I can't imagine what you must both be going through right now, but it sounds like you are managing to stay positive. It is great that you are making alternative plans too. Hopefully that will help you get through this. We are all here for you if you need support or advice. You can't have the gin though. That is all mine, mwah ha ha!

I am just in bed waiting for DH to come & do his duty. Got to keep up the sperm intake!

Nomio230 · 22/07/2015 23:02

Mummy, I agree, my BFP is long overdue. Come on little egg, let those tadpoles in!

loopylou1984 · 23/07/2015 06:08

Pixa - puppies coming for a visit on Saturday, and probably for a couple of weekends. Then moving in permanently on 23rd August! We're getting her from family so have the luxury of extended visits etc! Xx

Pixa I remember you from when I was on the thread before. Sorry your journey is proving so difficult. I don't know all the details but presuming your DH is the one that has a fertility problem. Ill reveal something about me that may help or not. I actually the result of a sperm donor. My dad had mumps as a child and was left infertile. My parents had to pay for all there treatment as there wasn't much in the way of help back then but they went on to have 3 children. it must have been particularly difficult for my mum as she was one of eleven so she wanted a big family. I don't ever really think about it dads just dad. Just thought I'd share so you know it's not over yet.

I have no symptoms still although and I am quite crampy but I've a feeling Af is just going to arrive early. Maybe it was taking the epo? I have sore boobs I don't usually get them before Af but neither has it ever been a symptom in my previous pregnancies.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 06:48

Symptoms! 2.5c temp rise today. 7DPO. And glow in the dark wee. Fuller but still squishy boobs.

loopylou1984 · 23/07/2015 06:56

2.5 degrees mummy?! That's a huge rise!
As for the glow in the dark wee... Have you upped your vitamin C or something? If not then very strange.....

OP posts:
Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 07:00

I know Sammy massive rise!

No vit C changes - not sure what it is. Not actual flow in the dark (when didn't test it) but very very strong and orange. Which is odd as I drink a lot of water. Stupidly tested today. No prizes guessing the result haha.

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 07:01

I'm hoping it goes triphasic!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 07:06

I guess fluorescent is the best way to describe it.

spinningirl10 · 23/07/2015 07:08

MorningGrin

Just skimmed through and saw PixaGrin Really Pleased you've popped back in. Please don't leave here, we're all on the same journey, it doesn't matter how we get there. Sounds like it was a good decision to tell people, nice to have some support. Really hoping a blockage is found and can be easily sorted.

Mummy, good temp rise, fx for you.

Kir, how's your spotting? Hope it disappeared.

BeauticianNotMagician81 · 23/07/2015 07:22

Fluorescent wee mummy Grin

Forgot to mention I went to slimming world last night and a good two stone to lose.I could do with losing a stone at least before continuing ttc as if I get a BFP anytime soon I'll be huge. But as its taking a while this time I daren't stop the ttc journey. We were going to miss out next month as I have two dcs with May birthdays but think we will just carry on.

Hairstylisttoboris · 23/07/2015 07:27

pixa I can only echo what the others have already said. I hope you can stick around with us. We are in this together no matter how tough, and your is bloody tough.

sammy hope you are continuing to feel stronger. Do say hi to lucie if you see her.

mummy what an odd symptom! I feel like I have a blocked up nose. Might be hay fever or might be a symptom... I never get other exciting symptoms so I'm claiming this one.

bananafish81 · 23/07/2015 07:59

Mummy are you taking B12? I have the fluorescent yellow wee as well, since I started taking Vitafem and apparently the bright yellow wee thing is a known thing with B12...Maybe also for other vits if not taking anything with B12? X

nightandthelight · 23/07/2015 08:25

pixa I haven't been around much as went on holiday and lost track of what was going on but sending many hugs to you. Also I am joining Eskimo by the door! When I was considering fostering I was told not to leave so neither can you!

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 08:34

Beaut well done on getting to slimming world! Don’t worry about the birthdays – just get really good at saving Grin

Boris it is very odd! I had a blocked and then runny nose with my BFP – good luck to you!!

banana not taking B12 specifically though my pregnacare convection vits may have some B vits in them. But I’ve been taking them for months so I shouldn’t be any different.

Also wave of sickness in the car - could have been the stress of the morning of rows with DS or the fact that I haven't eaten yet - could be a sign!

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/07/2015 10:48

Morning!

Yay! pixa's back! I hope you're gonna stick around lady! I caught up on yesterday's posts during the small hours of this morning after I finished work so I've forgotten most of it already, but were your cd21 blood results all fine? I've just had mine taken this morning.... Am I right in saying you were getting a puppy too?

Berocca also gives you flouro-wee, again it must be the b vits.

mummy we are in sync aren't we, I'm also 7dpo. Not feeling any symptoms here really. Womb feels full but I always feel like that in the run up to AF. Sharp pain in my uterus a couple of days ago but that coincided with particularly bad wind. Boobs do feel bigger atm but I weighed myself this week and I've put in another pound (so that's 5lb since October now) boo Sad

beaut slimming world is awesome once you get into the swing of it, have you done it before? DP lost 2 stone in 4 months when he did it a couple of years ago. I might try to convince him to go back on it together so I can shake off these extra pounds.

So, I got my bloods taken earlier. I'm being tested for pretty much everything, prog, testosterone, oestrogen, lh, fsh, thyroid, hiv, a few other things including something which has a really long name which the nurse tells me has been much discussed in the news recently, but I've forgotten what it's called and didn't ask what it is Blush. Also getting a chlamydia test. Telephone appt booked with GP for next Thursday so I can sit back, relax, and worry and wait for the results now.

DizzyNorthernBird · 23/07/2015 10:53

Ooooh, could crampy calves be a symptom? Went for a run a couple of nights ago, only did a slow five miles but I really struggled and yesterday my calves were very tight and cramping up....they still don't feel right today. A bit weird seeing as I did a half marathon two weeks ago and calves were totally fine afterwards. Symptom?

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 11:00

DizzyN so happy I am sharing my cycle with you and Boris I keep poling my boobs but they aren’t sore yet –must poke them harder-- I hve put on half a stone in about 6 months Sad I hope you don’t worry too much about the tests – No point worrying now – you can’t change them! Here to hand hold Grin I think the crampy calves are a symptom – you get more cramps in pregnancy Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 23/07/2015 11:00

POKING my boobs.... Hmm
