IrisPurple, the time will come. Perhaps you're just naturally taking longer through no biological disadvantage, you're just too good at dodging bullets Wink

Really want to test today but I'm so busy, and want it to be stress free (as possible). My sensible head tells me to wait until I'm a week late to test, just so I'll know AF has very very little chance of appearing by then.

CarrotVan · 21/07/2015 08:30

If you can wait until you are definitely late then I would. I've never managed that though...

KittyandTeal · 21/07/2015 08:43

Well I'm testing g again tmrw morning if af doesn't get me first. The spotting stopped day before yesterday but I've had cramping and pulling feelings. I've woken up with quite bad cramping so in thinking af is probably on it's way.

If this mid cycle spotting isn't implantation is it something I should worry about? I've never had it before (hence thinking it might be implantation) so it's totally abnormal for me.

81lilygirl · 21/07/2015 09:36

I have everything crossed for you Kitty & Madredear.

IrisPurple, I feel so much better about my age already from the number of us on here, and the success stories.

Birchygoo thanks, for some reason, with everything that has happened, I have turned into a ridiculously chirpy person, you know that one person you know that is so positive that you just want to slap them....

What are everyone's opinions on caffeine when ttc. I normally have one or two Americanos a day with DH from our coffee machine, and at least 3 cups of instant on a work day. I can easily cut down on the instant, after all, everyone is allowed to go on a health kick, and once I get my BFP I can cut it out completely. DH wants us to take a relaxed view and not get obsessive (hah!) so I can't cut out my one with him, but now read that I should avoid chocolate too?? I don't really drink carbonated drinks much, so that's not a problem, just not sure how strict I should be in these early days...

AF finished today, but DH is out tonight, so planning on pouncing on him tomorrow and vary it between times, but no longer that 3 days apart, which should hopefully help him feel we are still spontaneous and not a slave to my cycle Grin

Madredear · 21/07/2015 10:27

81lilygirl thank you!

Also, I wouldn't worry too much and it's very early days so all that strict rules seem a bit too much.

From want research I've done, caffeine isn't so bad on fertility as a whole.

3Princes99 · 21/07/2015 11:55

Looks like it's an exciting few days again with several testing :)

Kids are better thanks Birchy, 24 hours clear now so hopefully that's it!

I enter my fertile window tomorrow cd10 but won't get positive opk till 13/14 can't wait to see a line again, feels like it's took forever to come round Smile

IrisPurple · 21/07/2015 13:17

Thanks everyone for the messages.

I'm only m2 cd 23 (but feeling nothing) so very early for me. I'm just a worrier LOL. Scare stories on TV don't help, saying that you need to conceive before 30, men should freeze their sperm before 25- ridiculous!

Lily how old is your fella? Mine's 39.

Madre and Kitty I would leave as late as poss before testing, especially if you are not due your AF yet. Testing early can give confusing results, or pg may not get picked up, which leads to more confusion and more peeing on sticks!

I used to drink about 2-3cups of tea a day (I don't like coffee, and any caffeine after abiut 4pm keeps me awake - I cannot manage coke at all). Now down to 1 a day, occasionally 2. I don't think you need to cut out entirely, but it is recommended to reduce if you drink a lot.
Not heard anything about chocolate before. I think you just need to listen to what your body needs, unless you need to lose weight, I wouldn't cut out chocolate. Smile

I'm perhaps stricter than most, following all the pregnancy diet rules, because for me it is one less thing to worry about! I'm not sure how long the no drinking policy will last tho going forward!

daisylassy · 21/07/2015 13:38

Hi All,

Please can i hop on your bus!?!

NAme: daisylass
Age:32
Cycle No: 4
TTC: 1
Testing: August 25th (??)

Been TTC for 4 months since coming off the pill. 26 day cycles then July i thought I'd cracked it but AF arrived very early (21 days). FX for us all this august!

KittyandTeal · 21/07/2015 13:56

Thanks iris. I already tested 3 days before I was due as I was in the middle of spotting. Frer text came back negative :(

I'm hoping it's because it was mid day, diluted urine. I've been having cramps, spotting so stopped. I'm getting waves of nausea every so often and generally feel grim.

I'm due tmrw. I usually get spotting the day before but nothing so far (although that might be because it all come out a few days ago?) so not testing until the day I'm due. Will do it first thing in the morning if not af spotting before that.

I feel sick with neves

Banana79 · 21/07/2015 14:05

Oh Kitty FX, I hope you can sleep!

daisylassy · 21/07/2015 15:57

FX kitty x

KittyandTeal · 21/07/2015 16:44

Thanks. I'm driving myself insane trying not to think about it but failing. I've all but convinced myself I'm pregnant despite the negative test so I think tmrw may be a huge disappointment

rebelly · 21/07/2015 18:03

Good luck Kitty. Its so hard not to think about it all the time, I gave in and tested this morning cd 26 and negative so trying my hardest to wait until af actually due

Madredear · 21/07/2015 19:13

Thank you Iris, I haven't actually tested too early as I'm already 2 days late but I'm leaving it until the morning to test now. Really anxious Confused

Welcome newbies!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 21/07/2015 19:58

Guys, I'm so sorry, I've been floating around in a daze and forgot to tell you all that I poas and got me a positive. :) Wondering how london is doing as we were cycle buddies?

KittyandTeal · 21/07/2015 20:14

Awesome auf! What's the predicted due date?

lilygirl81 · 21/07/2015 20:22

iris hubby is almost 27, he's my toyboy, but always been an old head on young shoulders.

I'm trying to do everything I can, so will probably cut down a bit, I am a complete coffee addict though, so probably do me good to have a break. Luckily on the drinking front, DH said he was planning to not drink and see how his depression is, so obviously I said I'd abstain to keep him company!

Hi newbies, daisylass you test on my anniversary Smile fingers. Roused it's a lucky date for you.

kitty so exciting, they sound like very positive signs

Banana79 · 21/07/2015 20:47

Congratulations Auf!! Amazing news Grin Grin Grin

MsGlitterJunkie · 21/07/2015 21:14

Evening ladies, sorry I disappeared into the ether, work has been mental and all consuming!

Massive congratulations Auf, fabulous news, you must be thrilled. I just love it when someone gets their BFP.

Fingers and toes crossed kitty and madre, sending you lots and lots of positive vibes.

I'm 7dpo and have had a few twinges but am so crazy busy that I think I'll be able to hold off until next Weds before testing yeah right

Currently I have 3 friends all pregnant and one work colleague has just gone off on maternity leave, absolutely thrilled to bits for them. Just wish my time would come grrrrr. Anyway, positive positive positive. It WILL happen won't it?

birchygoo · 21/07/2015 21:22

Aufwiedersehen that's awesome news!! Our 1st BFP!!!

Our updated stats - let me know if anything is wrong

birchygoo · 21/07/2015 21:25

I also had my first reflexology tonight - she was able to identify that I have mild hormone imbalances but mainly just stressed which she says means i have cortisol coursing through my body constantly which is not good for pregnancy.

So I am having follow up for next 6 weeks and we will see how it goes!

I also have my first fertility appointment tomorrow

MsGlitterJunkie · 21/07/2015 21:30

Good luck for tomorrow birchy do let us know how you get on.

I'm booked in for 11 Sept but I'm checking daily for cancellations. And I can definitely relate to the stress issue, am trying and failing valiantly to find my inner zen, apparently it does make a difference but knowing me I'll get stressed about trying not to be stressed sigh #can'twin

weechops · 21/07/2015 21:45

birchy good luck for tomorrow

auf huge congratulations!

pocopearl I remember you from the 2012/2013 buses!! So sorry for your losses.

Good luck to everyone testing soon.

I had good news from dh tonight - he's coming home a few days earlier than expected so should be here round about 23 September, and if my cycles stay 29 days then I'm due to ov around the 25th, so he'll be here at the absolute perfect time yay!!

rebelly · 21/07/2015 21:58

Congratulation auf, great news.
