Hi all

Just checking in. CD25 here and not expecting anything for at least another 5-7 days. obsessive symptom spotting AF watch will begin from about CD30...

How are things this morning Kitty? Any news?

Well, the spotting seemed to stop over night. Had a bit more brown this morning but it seems to have stopped again. It was on and off all day yesterday.

I've got very slight cramps and feeling knackered but that could well be end of term catching up.

I've got a fr hpt upstairs but I'm loath to use it yet.

I need telling off. I'm annoying myself. Around 9 dpo, hubby asleep and I thought "ooh what shall I do...I know, do a test!" I have some IC stashed away and of course, BFN. No hint of a line. Suddenly cramps seem v much AF getting ready but then some sites say too early to really test. AF due anytime between this Weds and Fri according to apps.

Basically I need you all to tell me to stop pondering either way and just enjoy my Sunday!

london consider yourself told off! Way too early to test yet at 9dpo. You could indulge the crazy poas obsession tomorrow though as you may see a faint line at 10dpo

Haha thanks weechops and kitty. To be honest I have no idea with all the different tests but in my heart I knew it was early. What's wrong with me?! Lol. I also need to remember that cycle one isn't v realistic to hope for a bfp. If anything it'll be great data to track future fertile moments and patterns.

Right I'm off to the local fair this afternoon and will put a Google ban on for the rest of the weekend!

What are the chances it's wrong because I tested with mid day urine? It says it doesn't matter and is 98% accurate 3 days before af is due. I'm grasping at straws I think.

Thing is I'm shattered, feel sick (almost puked while teaching maths in fri) but I'm starving, and have headaches, plus this spotting.

Saying that, I think the cramps are getting worse and spreading to my back do it probably is af. Trying not to beg too despondent. I know it won't happen straight away but it's just frustrating after such a shitty year

kitty if you're regular as clockwork then it would be weird this cycle you spotting. Then again if you've just gone off bc this first cycle (have you?) that could screw things up for a while. Some people don't get bfps even on frers for some time remember, just depends how much hormones are produced. I'd say wait until at least Wednesday before you call a negative a negative.

No I'm not just of bc. I had a tfmr in jan so cycles were a little all over the place for a few months. However, we weren't ttc so it didn't matter.

Cycles are back to clockwork, like they always have been since, April/may. 25 days, spotting 1-2 days before af starts (cd 24 and 25) so this really is unusual for me.

However, saying that I don't have a great relationship with my body atm, I don't trust it to not fuck up monumentally like it did before (dd2 was diagnosed with T18)

I'm very fed up now. I know I shouldn't moan, I have a happy and healthy dd1 but I should bloody well be doing this, I should have a happy and healthy 2 mo right now.

Sorry, having a mini pity party today.

You're right, I can't give up until weds, that's what dh has said and I know damn well that's what my counsellor would say too

Ah sorry. I remember the T18 but somehow thought you'd gone back onto bc and that's why you're counting this as cycle 1. Scatterbrained me.
Well, in that case, tbh, my bet is on implantation bleeding. But don't tell anyone I said that. Me? Fuel crazy? Never!

We just used condoms as bc as I just wanted my body to get back to 'normal'.

I'm going to try putting it out of my mind until weds. I'm seeing my counsellor then so she can help me work through whatever the result is. We're due to put together stage 1 of my pregnancy plan anyway

Hello all.

Boarding from the July bus as AF hit early like a ton of bricks yesterday. Not surprised as I hadn't had anything that would qualify as a symptom. I've worked out that if I have another cycle the same length as the last two, AF is due on the first day of our delayed honeymoon.

Fingers crossed extra hard this month... would rather be setting off with a BFP to celebrate please!
