What are the time limits for reading the test, if you read it within the limits then it is likely to be a positive as the strip tests are very sensitive. If out of the limits test again in the morning and see what happens.

Emmalbae · 06/07/2015 22:09

10 minutes.
I'm didn't time it but it didn't feel like over ten minutes. The first picture (dark background) I can 95 per cent guarantee it was before 10 minutes. The lighter background photo I'm about 50 per cent sure it was before ten minutes

Looks like a definite bfp to me!

Greypuddle · 06/07/2015 22:11

You're pregnant. Congratulations.

Emmalbae · 06/07/2015 22:15

Thanks.
I really don't want to get my hopes up because of evap lines though.
The first picture is faintly their its barely noticeable isn't it ? The one on the darker background. That's the only line I can need guarantee was before ten minutes. What do people think of that photo ? Normally ill throw these tests away after a minute when their negative ( thinking ' sod it ') but this one I didn't.
I have been suffering headaches at work the last week or so. But they tend to get better at home. Tonight I still have one though.
Time will tell I suppose and fingers crossed.

Definitely a line on each, congratulations!

SaulGood · 06/07/2015 22:24

They're positive. No maybe about it. Both of them.

Emmalbae · 06/07/2015 22:29

Thanks.
Their the same test btw ( not to separate ones ) one photo was taken approx six minutes after test and one maybe 10 maybe after.
That's why I'm worried about evap lines. What do people think about the chance of evap lines?
My bf says I showed him the fainter line b4 10 minutes as he heard when I was in loo lol and said I came out with it less than 10 minutes later.
He doesn't want to get his hopes up to be disappointed though.

If it is poistive omg! I could be having a baby. I so Wasnt expecting that this early on in the ttc process.

Thanks . It's a bit early yet to.
I have 35-44 day cycles and earliest period is due is on Saturday.

Pregnant!
Evap lines aren't all that common with pink dye tests, and that type you have used is insanely sensitive, think it's 10mIU or something.

Congratulations Flowers

Emmalbae · 07/07/2015 04:46

This mornings test, taken exactly 10 minutes after sample,
Their is a very ' faint line ' visible.
Still think pregnant I'm not so sure ?

Evap line or early positive ?

I can see a line :) congratulations!!! Xxx

maybebabybee · 07/07/2015 05:40

That is definitely a bfp.

If you want to be sure just go and buy a better brand of test. First response are the best!

IBelieveInPink · 07/07/2015 05:44

Yep. My 'faint line' was waaaaay fainter than that and is now snoozing next to me, 6 days old.

Congratulations Smile

Emmalbae · 07/07/2015 06:27

It's so hard to believe,
I was convinced I would never manage to get pregnant,

I just have to make sure
The line started to show about 7/8 minutes after and was only that bright at 10 minutes is that ok?
I must have ovulated really early this cycle ( no idea when I did )
I have 35-44 day cycles and earliest period is due is Saturday.
I have told my bf he is hesitant. He doesn't believe it and doesnt want to get his hopes up so hasn't said a lot. I'm the same tbh.

OP why don't you try another brand as the pricier ones tend to show a better line? I am nearly 5 weeks now and my internet cheapy tests are still not massively dark but I get pregnant on a digi and very dark obvious lines on a first response.

Emmalbae · 07/07/2015 06:56

I was thinking of buying one and trying Saturday which is the earliest I was expecting my period buy.
Do you think it'll say positive then ?
I feel so in denial. The time limits are right for the Internet cheapies so it must be positive ? But why so early before period is due ? Could it be a chemical ?

OP posts:
IBelieveInPink · 07/07/2015 08:26

Unless you are absolutely sure of your ov dates, (and even then) you can't really be sure how far gone you are. So yes, is entirely possible, and a line is a line. That is a line... It has colour, Evap lines don't.

I can't promise you it won't be chemical but today you are pregnant Smile

Why don't you go and get yourself a first response for tomorrow or the next day. Saturday is an awfully long time to wait!

maybebabybee · 07/07/2015 09:19

I agree with Ibelieve, unless you were temping you have no way of knowing when you ovulated, so you could be further along than you think :)

Emmalbae · 07/07/2015 13:35

Thanks.
Yep Saturday is a long time to wait I agree. I'll pick up a fr and a clear blue digital. I'm just dreading seeing the words 'not pregnant'
Reason I'm worried is that line was like that only after ten minutes. Between 7/8-10 it was a lot fainter.
I'm shocked that the ic came out as positive but I just don't believe it, I don't think I will until I see the words 'pregnant'

PosterEh · 07/07/2015 13:39

I've had a lot of evaps on those tests too so I understand why you are being cautious. Those lines are pretty pink though so I think they're most likely positive.
