Late period?

Just looking for a bit of guidance here. AF was due yesterday but still no sign. Usually if we have intercourse when it is due it brings it on, we had last night and yet still no sign. I had spotting Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week (had smear on Friday). During smear nurse said my cervix was tight (had 2 dc and many smears and never been told that before). Longest cycle I've had in the last 6 months is 29 days. I'm impatient though and not sure wether to test today or give it a few days. What do you all think?

Average cycle is 26/27 days. Today is day 28.

Any advice/info appreciated. I can't stop thinking about it.

I've bought a test but haven't done it yet. Think I'll wait til tomorrow and if it doesn't arrive then I'll do it Tuesday.

Pee on a stick! Light bleeding a few days ago could have been due to implantation or a bit of breakthrough bleeding (hormone levels rise very fast but sometimes not quite high enough to stop a little bleed the first month).

Normally I spot for 4 days straight before my period arrives. The spotting this week was lighter than usual and less frequent which makes me think there could be a chance. Don't want to waste a test when the chances are it will arrive tomorrow. Anyway, ive bought wine to have a glass with dinner tonight (just in case it's my last for a while)

Oh it's going down a treat we've decided to leave it til Tuesday. Not sure I can hold off til then though

I've done another, clear blue this time and it's crystal clear. I can't focus on a thing today!

Another test done just to be doubly sure.
