Help - is this a line?

This must be a stupid question... I was bored last night and just for fun I did a test (I know, I need to get out more). I forgot about it, then checked this morning and found this... Is this an evaporation mark? Or a positive. Help help help. Really need opinions...

No idea of knowing I don't think unless you do another test, you aren't meant to read them after about 10mins, so it all depends on when the line appeared.

Do another test to be sure!

Thanks for replying. I am going to do another one now. Absolutely bricking it. Oh god...!!! Half of me thinks it must be evap as my period was only about two and a half weeks ago... Argh.

So that's a definite negative isn't it. Bottom is positive from two years ago (but period was a week late), Middle is what I found this morning and top is just now... Hey ho.

Help - is this a line?

Part of me is relieved, part of me is sad. I am in a really difficult situation at the moment. But I am 32 so it would have been a nice and wanted thing. Meh. Feel conflicted.

I see you've used different brands.
It might be worth doing another test in a couple of days if AF hasn't arrived.
Meanwhile have some Cake and Flowers.

You probably ovulated about 3 days ago, it was always going to be negative.
Wait at least a week then try again.

Thank you lovely people. I did use different brands. The first one was a waitrose one (cos I am classy like that!), the second was a tesco one. But compared with the one when I was pregnant before, they are both pretty feeble. Do you think it's worth testing again, or shall I just assume that the Middle one (last night) was an Evap line?

Wait a while before trying again. If your period was only 2.5 weeks ago then you have another 1.5 weeks to wait.

Thank you. Will see what happens... I am just feeling bad as my last pregnancy ended up terminated for various reasons Sad so I am sort of quietly hoping and wishing... Just hope it's not karma, if you see what I mean.

Y'see I'm not so sure. I thought evap lines were meant to be colourless and there's definite pink on that one. Also, blue dyes are simply not as good as pink dye tests.

Test again!

Actually I'm in a similar boat. Did a test for no good reason last week, seemed negative, left it. Days later - faint BFP. And before you tell me to PO another S, I'm working up to it!! I suspect I am though. Eek. At 42.

Evap lines are grey, not pink.

Also- I got a +ve about 30mins after I took the test when I was pg, I was just too early to really detect it. I took another one later the same day and got a negative, took one with FMU the day after (pink dye) and it was +ve so I'd definitely test again with FMU in a few days.

You are going to hate me for saying this...but only time will tell. The hormones levels are just too low to be reliable. But the results are...umm...interesting Grin

I know!!!! But that's two out of three that 'something' has shown up... Coincidence? Not sure how often that sort of thing happens. And as someone else said, aren't Evap lines supposed to be grey or colourless? Sorry, I seem to be obsessing over something that is probably nothing...

I've been there and done the obsessing too. It is hugely frustrating. Give it 9 months and you'll know for sure.
