can dh come to gp appointment?

We've been ttc for a year, I saw my gp in May who arranged day 1 and day 21 bloods which came back fine, dh has had sperm analysis with his dr and results came back ok.

My gp said to keep trying for another 6 months however dh and I both feel we'd like to be referred to fertility specialist sooner rather than later. I have an appointment with my gp again tomorrow but im such a wimp I dont feel confident asking her if she can refer us now and not in 6 months time. Dh is coming with me, stupid question but is this allowed?! Has anyone else taken their dh?

Of course it's allowed. If you are happy for him to be there just go for it.

Yes, it's your appointment so it's your choice. I took DH when we first went to discuss fertility problems, I think it helped having us both there.

Absolutely fine, and up to you. Not just for fertility matters either, you can always take someone (ideally just one not a team) to a gp appt.
