Didn't work I'm afraid.

Was hopeful as AF was late but it arrived. had scan too and nothing there.

Upsetting at the time but I'm not too bad now. Will try again in January.

It's OK - nice to think you were thinking of me!

A good friend is PG and due 3 days after I would have been if the IVF had worked. That will be hard when she announces. But I will be trying again by then.

Have spent a fortune on Zita West fertility vitamins for me and DH. Am sourcing an acupuncturist too. And if I can't find one here will just travel to London to do it.

Just need to give up alcohol! Struggling with that one mightily!

Ahhh yes I can imagine that will be difficult RE your friends PG.

Are the vitamins a coctail of vitamins to help with conception? or like the vitamins like "PRO Natel" and the other PG vitamins over here?

I think they do do accupuncture over there. Not sure if this site will be any good www.icmart.org (sry copy n paste jobby)its the international council of medical accupuncture. Hope it has something on there

megandsoph - thanks so much for that info - will check it out. Not sure if you have heard of Zita West - she is a UK midwife and acupuncturist. V. into alternative remedies/support alongside traditional medicine. I ordered the vits from her UK website. She has a clinic in Harley Street.

cityangel - thanks for that link too. Unfortunately I am in Budapest so UK based no good.

Northener - thanks for your wishes - DS is an IVF baby (although he is now 5!). Tried in Sept and only got one follicle. Tried again in Oct - again only one follicle but went ahead and had one embryo transferred. But no luck this time. Have both age (42) and weight (big!) against me. But have fingers crossed.

Used to live in Bulgaria and the Bulgarian guy listed is a guy I actually went to - he advised me to eat nothing but cherries for 5 days!!!!

Actually after I wrote the last message I was just having a daily nosey at the hoping for positive thread and noticed that someone mentioned the lady Zita West.

Hope the accupuncture works I really really do. I have read a few success stories from people trying to concive.

After talking to you BB and reading the conception boards it really does make me appreciate my fertility.

I pray that you get your BFP next time round x x
