I'm doing ok, still in agony with my leg but the nausea seems to have passed for now. not going to test until next Fri which will be 9dpo. we're at my friends wedding thurs and off to Edinburgh zoo Fri, hoping my leg improves as I might struggle if it's not!
how are you March symptom wise?

waves to everyone hope you are all ok xx

Marchgirl · 01/08/2015 18:38

Ah, you're up here are you claire? How lovely. Hope the weather is good. We are also going to the zoo this week (on Tuesday) as my sister is up here. How long are you up for? If you have time for a meet up over coffee let me know!

Ahh March I would love that but were only going to Edinburgh for the day Sad if I was there longer I would def meet up that would have been lovely. we just get train Fri morning and back on the evening. shame we aren't going to zoo same day x

LouiseM1987 · 01/08/2015 20:52

Ladies when do you really start to feel the "kicks" I've had flutters for a couple of weeks but tonight I feel as tho I have a little twitch going off inside ?! I'm 17 + 5 ! It might be to early and as its my first not sure but it's definitely something I've never felt before ! X

Marchgirl · 01/08/2015 20:56

Ah. Shame claire. Maybe next time! I hope you have a fab time anyway. Where's the wedding?

Could well be louise Grin

March the wedding is in Northumberland on the thursday, although we have to be up super early on Friday to get train to Edinburgh so won't be a late one Smile. definitely next time March.

Louise it could well be, I didn't feel ds until week of 20 wk scan but everyone's different x

Indiedog · 01/08/2015 21:00

Ah Louise, it could well be. I think if it's your first you feel things earlier.
I didn't start to feel things until about 19/20 weeks, but this is my second.

LouiseM1987 · 01/08/2015 21:02

It might not be could just be bad wind haha !

Ah it'd been nice for you both too meet ! It would be nice for us all to meet too xx

Indiedog · 01/08/2015 21:27

To be honest, I've only started feeling proper shoves and pushes in the last week or so, so 21/22+. It was all flutters and buzzy feelings first.
I'm 23 on Wednesday, and I've just been sat watching tv, and went ooo,out loud as he gave me a proper boot! Husband just looked at me, and I said you could have almost felt that on the outside. So I don't think it will be long before hubby or daughter will be able to feel something!

Kazz2112 · 01/08/2015 21:39

I'm feeling really panicky tonight. AF should be due tomorrow and although I know I'm pregnant I'm soooooo scared! I really can't envisage how I'm going to get through the next 2 weeks. never mind the 8 to take me to relative safety! Confused Confused Confused Confused Confused Sad Sad

Indiedog · 02/08/2015 07:41

Joy, is your scan today? Eeek, exciting, bet you can't wait to see your two little monkeys.
Pinks, blues, pink and blue?????

I do still have the voucher if you want it. What time is your appointment?

Marchgirl · 02/08/2015 07:41

The first bit is so hard kazz. I think you just have to try and keep busy and forget about it as much as you can. Once your af date is past maybe it will feel a bit easier. But not much! I think we just have to accept this is not going to be a normal pg. I'm hoping after 20 weeks it will start to feel more real. I'm still in denial. Feeling very detached from it all.

OP posts:
Choccywoccydodah · 02/08/2015 09:27

Totally understandable kazz! You've just got to take it day by day, week by week. It's so nerve wracking!!
I couldn't tell you and 'symptoms' while having the jabs as such as they could have easily just have been pregnancy symptoms, but I did have a few minor headaches and I got a cold!

Louise is say that's baby. With ds I felt him at just over 14 weeks (the flutters) while watching one born every minute as it happens!! Proper kicks about 18/19 weeks I think, dh could feel him outside about 21.
This one I felt at just over 12 weeks, proper kicks from 17 weeks and dh felt him from about 20 weeks x

Had a great time with friends yesterday/last night. Not seen them for ages so the time flew by!!
Still her, about to jump in the shower, then off to the in laws for a BBQ when we pick up ds as friends today cancelled on us (knew they would, long story but mostly have shit-make-no-effort friends and I had a massive go at them all recently about it. No change there though!!)

Kazz2112 · 02/08/2015 11:34

Finding it harder as DH seems determined to talk about the future. and I'm like - no. Get this weekend out the way. Then my target will be next weekend. Then getting the
through the weekend.

We told SIL last night. Even though it's sp early we would tell her even if things don't go to plan and my mum knows as we need her to come to some appointments with me..But his SIL was like 'I'm so happy for you. I know it's hard but try to enjoy it'. I just told her point blank that there will be nothing to enjoy until I've passed the vital stages of previous mcs and I will certainly not relax at all until we're well passed the crucial 12-13 weeks if we make it that far.

I'm. finding it harder that other than tiredness I don't really feel pregnant
Sad

Brummiemum87 · 02/08/2015 12:45

Hi ladies, haven't been on here for a few days so just catching up with the thread. Huge congratulations kazz on your positive!! Hope you're finding injections ok, you soon get used to doing them. I totally understand how you're feeling, I'm literally taking things a day at a time & my aim is to make it to next appointment.
I've got my scan tomorrow morning, really nervous! I've had no bleeding since that episode & symptoms are still super strong...can hardly eat as I feel so sick!! Keeping my fingers crossed that my little bean will be ok tomorrow. Xx

Kazz2112 · 02/08/2015 14:36

How far are you now Brummie?

Me and DH said a few weeks ago that when we go away in three weeks we're leaving mobiles at home. Bit I've told him I can't do it. Mumsnet has become my lifeline and I need to be able to access it whilst away!!!!

Brummiemum87 · 02/08/2015 16:49

I'm 8weeks 1day today. My first mc was a mmc & baby measured exactly 8weeks & my other 2 mc's were around 6.5-7weeks so the scan tomorrow feels like a biggy to me as if everything ok it'll be the furthest I've got since having my son.

Marchgirl · 02/08/2015 17:00

Best of luck brummie. I have a good feeling about this one x

OP posts:
Genwah85 · 02/08/2015 17:19

Well I felt better after my scan, but I had some bleeding yesterday...today has gone to brown and a bit stringy (sorry tmi) feel absolutely shite tbh Sad

Good luck with your scan brummie xx

Kazz2112 · 02/08/2015 17:26

It could be absolutely nothing Genwah. When's your next scan? finger crossing for you!

Good luck tomorrow Brummie!

Genwah85 · 02/08/2015 17:39

It's not for 2 weeks, I'm going to call tommorow see what they say and hope it comes to a stop x

Brummiemum87 · 02/08/2015 17:52

Genwah give trial nurse a call in morning, they'll probably have you in in next few days just for your peace of mind as you've got quite a wait until next appointment. I've had brown spotting since 6 weeks with this pregnancy, scan at 7weeks showed everything looking normal! I'm hoping that after having a red bleed last tues that things will be ok tomorrow. X

Genwah85 · 02/08/2015 17:54

I'll call her in morning are you at heartlands brummie just hope I get through to her as had some troubles last week when I tried x

Brummiemum87 · 02/08/2015 18:00

Yeah I'm at heartlands. I had to contact her weds & I couldn't get through to her until late afternoon. If she's busy ask her to call you back, the nurses on desk just make a note in her book & she rings you as soon as she's free.

Genwah85 · 02/08/2015 18:09

Yea we spent a day last week ringing and leaving messages then got told she had gone home.....spoke to her on my last a appointment about it though and she said just keep trying and don't worry about feeling like I'm calling to much...I know she starts at 8 as that's when I have my appointments so will start trying early and hope for the best!
It seems to be stopping now so fingers crossed was nothing! X
