Woohoo kazz!! Patience pays off :D let us know when you've rang them!
Love your bump indie :) xx

MAS7 · 31/07/2015 10:06

Definitely positive jazz. Congratulations!!!

Ring them today, take your positive First response and FMU. They want to see the line as much as you do so even if it's a squinter on their tests it'll be fine!

MAS7 · 31/07/2015 10:07

Loved your 3d pics choccy. You'll have to let us know how your next one goes.

Indiedog · 31/07/2015 11:54

That made me chuckle Louise, I think the wee is disguised in a tesco bag, hopefully in a container (I hope)! Drip, drip, drip!

Choccywoccydodah · 31/07/2015 13:07

philippa88 · 31/07/2015 14:50

Oh and lmao at the tesco bag of wee.. What an image lol! Xx

Kazz2112 · 31/07/2015 15:18

Well it's official. I'm on the trial. I've been randomised and I've done my first injection which despite my needle fear was easy peasy! I'm now home and in bed for a nap as the emotions of today have worn me out. The funeral this morning really did me in emotionally and before I left I had a quiet word with my mates mum just asking that she look over my mate and look after her and also my little embryo that's in there.

Can I please just take the opportunity to say thank you so much to each and every one of you for the support you've given me to get me this far. This I know is only the beginning and I'm absolutely sh** scared now but I feel so much stronger because of this thread! Any advice on getting through these early stages would be great! For now ive folded my appointment sheet over so I can only the first appointment on Monday. That's my first goal!

Louise that comment about the tesco bag really made me laugh. Almost as much as my mum when I told her not to bin my wee pot in case I needed it again - she thought I meant for food storage!

And Choccy he looks gorgeous! Smile

Kazz2112 · 31/07/2015 15:21

Trial nurse has just text to say my bloods also indicate very early pregnancy. The test she did to confirm was practically blank with such a slight shadow she went for a second and third opinion!!! Phew. Now panicking shouldn't it be more definite on the bloods??! Always a bloody worry! I was dated at 3+4. Not sure how it was worked out though!!!!

Vicki272 · 31/07/2015 16:04

Congratulations Kazz! so excited for you :) xx

Genwah85 · 31/07/2015 16:36

My test was so faint at first appoitment she had to get a 2nd opinion too! They work it out by when you first got your smiley then add 2 weeks I think? That work out for you? (Mine wasn't right I ended up 9 days behind what they worked out but about right to what I thought) x

Choccywoccydodah · 31/07/2015 16:48

Kazz you made me well up!! I'm just hoping as I am with everyone that this trial brings much happiness and love with your little ones and everyone has a smooth pregnancy. It's such a worrying time at the best of times without the added suit that we've all been through.
With regards dates, it'll all settle down by the time your scans happen. And a big fat CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE PREGNANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 31/07/2015 16:48

*shit not suit!

Kazz2112 · 31/07/2015 17:04

If anything I was pushing for her to make me less pregnant than I am so that there's less chance of seeing nothing at a 6 week scan. based on both my smiley and my last AF I would day I'm 3+5 but I'll go with 3+4 for now.

Only concern now is we are in Greece bang on the 8 week scan date. so she's said she'll scan me at 7 weeks the day before we go and I said I'll really want a scan when we get back for peace of mind because 7 weeks was a crucial point for mc1. And I don't want to wait 5 weeks between 7 and 12 - if we even get that far! But fingers crossed - this is a new pregnancy and not effected by the previous.

Choccywoccydodah · 31/07/2015 17:05

Size spoke to mw this afternoon at my appt and asked about the whooping jab. She said it takes 2 weeks for it to reach baby so you can have it up to 38 weeks at the moment (going off your due date). I think I'm going to book mine for about 33/34 weeks x

Choccywoccydodah · 31/07/2015 17:07

Kazz of beg for a 10 week one when you get there if you can x

Kazz2112 · 31/07/2015 18:40

What are people taking vitamin / supplement wise? My trial nurse recommended pregnacare. About 4 times the coat of the tesco own brand vitamins I've taken before but I reckon it may be worth it just to feel like I'm doing something different to all other times.

LouiseM1987 · 31/07/2015 20:06

I take Severn seas pregnancy one Kazz I didn't agree with the pregnacare ones x
