I've just checked with trial nurse and apparently I haven't been?
if it was that, would that mean its treatable and what about causing mc?x

Marchgirl · 29/07/2015 14:00

Very treatable with diet by cutting out gluten. There is suggestion that it could be a cause of mc, but not proven link i don't think. Worth getting checked anyway, even just to rule it out. I got my doctor to test me (negative), it's just a blood test, which they could do alongside any other things they might test for to see what's going on.

March- my scan is at 830am tommorow I'm dreading it to be honest all symptoms have gone and I just don't feel pregnant like I did just want to bury head in the sand :( glad you got your appointment sorted x

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 14:14

Massive hugs and handhold ing to both of you tomorrow. How far are you both?

Genwah85 · 29/07/2015 14:19

Thank you Kazz, i should be 7+3 tommorow x

Marchgirl · 29/07/2015 14:46

I'll be 6+2 tomorrow.

Hand holding gen. A lot of people on the rmc board have lost symptoms before scans - I think it's due to the fear (sure there is some kind of more scientific explanation). Keeping my fingers crossed that everything is ok for you xx

thanks March I will see gp. feeling down about everything at moment, mc/being poorly/bad legs etc I've even rang in sick which I dont usually do.

good luck gen and March for your scans, lots of love today as know how anxious you 'll be x

Marchgirl · 29/07/2015 15:52

Is a hell of a lot to deal with all at once claire, I'm not surprised it's getting on top of you. Are you in counselling at all? Or is it something you'd consider? I got 6 free sessions through our employee assistance program, which I'm halfway through and i think it's helping

I think I've hit an all time low point everything seems to be getting on top of me. my employer probably offers something very similar but I haven't been offered it and haven't really thought about it. I'm probably just having a bad run at moment as the things aren't major x

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 16:50

The counselling is something I would definitely consider. I'll be honest I think if I don't get good news in the next few days I'll need it bur I've not a clue how I'd access it.

I've oy had any so far an starting to wonder if I should've.

F*ing best mate text me yesterday to say she was taking the day off after our friends mums funeral on Friday morning and would I like to go for lunch to cheer me up a bit. I said I'd let her know today as yesterday just couldn't stop crying - I've just text to say I'll go and she's now invited our pregnant friend!!!!!! wtf?????

Marchgirl · 29/07/2015 17:19

Urgh. Some people just don't think kazz. Can she cancel her (or can you cancel? )

Our EAP is totally confidential, i called them up directly, with a number i got off our intranet and they did a little assessment then they arranged it. If you have a welfare dept I'm sure they could tell you if you have something similar.

You are going through a particularly bad patch claire, and i know you'll come out the other end, but it's not trivial, it's big, life changing stuff. If you think it would help then i would definitely think about it.
There is someone on the rmc board who has had her baby now, her 'happy ending', but is now going through PND due to the stress of her mcs and it's putting a huge strain on her marriage. I think it's easy for us all to hope everything will be fine and forgotten once we have our babies (and I do really hope it will), but this stuff has a habit of lingering. Anyway, it's just a thought. It's not for everyone x

I'm not going. I've told her I'll decide Friday but I'm not putting myself through it. I work in a school so I've not a clue how I'd even go about accessing something like that.

clairemorgan81 · 29/07/2015 17:55

March do you work for public sector? Just sounds like the same type of set up as where I work.
I will definitely look into it if I keep feeling this way.
bloods getting done by gp tomorrow for coeliac disease.

do not go kazz what a bloody cheek x

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 18:43

That's good! Im now actually Wiveton if it was the trial tests, the rmc tests or the tests my doctor sent that involved coeliac. But anyhow it's a good thing you're getting it done!

Marchgirl · 29/07/2015 18:53

Yes, I'm public sector claire, EAP is through AXA. Do you have any kind of welfare department kazz? I'm not sure whether it'd be through the local authority (who would surely have something? ) or the school themselves.

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 29/07/2015 18:54

we definitely have an employee assistance service so will have a look. thanks March x

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 19:51

That's the problem I've got... finding put. My school is horrendous for gossip so I'd be concerned about asking anyone at work. Maybe will talk to my mum. She's worked in local schools for years so would probably know.

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 19:52

out not put!!!!!

clairemorgan81 · 29/07/2015 19:53

do you not have a hr dept kazz?x

Kazz2112 · 29/07/2015 19:59

We have a HR woman. But I don't trust her!

clairemorgan81 · 29/07/2015 20:18

typical. ask your mum she might know it's worth finding out.x

MAS7 · 29/07/2015 20:23

Did you get a scan sorted Brummie?

Sorry to hear everything that's going on kazz, I hope you feel better soon.

Hope I'm not being insensitive... today's scan went well. It's a healthy girl!!!
