3 years?! Shock That's ridiculous! I really hope your consultant can help then. Maybe if you go armed with what you want to get referred for, it might persuade the consultant to do something. So Angry on your behalf that it's so hard to get referred

sorry I meant 2 years March x

Choccywoccydodah · 13/07/2015 15:38

3 years?????? Wtf????? That's ridiculous! Glad your progesterone levels are ok, mine were 27 so on the low side but still above normal.
I was put on cyclogest progesterone just in case, but I also used to take vitamin b6 twice a day (100mg total), that's when I started catching. The months I didn't take it (my months off ttc) my cycles I had spotting. However I wasn't allowed to take it when I started the trial yet caught. Might be worth asking your trial mw about? Xx

clairemorgan81 · 13/07/2015 15:49

choccy do you know why you couldn't take b6 when on trial?x

Marchgirl · 13/07/2015 18:08

Even two years is terrible claire, esp if they don't include the time you've been mcing. It makes me very Angry that there is such a disparity between trusts for fertility investigations and treatment.

i know it seems like a lottery postcode depending on where you live. God knows where I go from here. I guess mc consultants worry isn't me getting pregnant its once I'm pregnant she would get involved x

Choccywoccydodah · 13/07/2015 19:27

You weren't allowed to take anything while on the trial I was told as you had to catch as naturally as you could and the 'drug' basically had to do everything. So nothing was allowed to interfere. Basically if I was taking b6, even though I knew it helped me catch, it could interfere with proper results and your bloods etc. I hadn't taken it for 3 months previously as we'd not been trying, I was spotting but later on so I'm not sure if my body reset itself perhaps?

clairemorgan81 · 13/07/2015 20:57

yes maybe it did choccy. I can start taking it in October once trial ends though so that's good , its worth a shot . thanks for info x

philippa88 · 14/07/2015 12:26

Quick question for those who passed 12 weeks... I've got my scan appt on Thursday - usually I get a new set of injections on the Thursday and do one that night. I know I won't be getting anymore injections now (yay! But also scared!) so do I NOT do one of my current pack on Thursday? Confused.com! X

sizethree · 14/07/2015 12:31

How many have you left in your pack? You should always have 1 left over to return, possibly 2 if you're missing that eve. I HATED returning my extra last ones. But you'll geyvused to but doing as fast as you got used to doing them.
Well done for reaching this point.

philippa88 · 14/07/2015 12:47

Size, I think there'll be 2 left over as normally I do it on an evening and my appt is late morning. It's going to be strange not having them but like my trial nurse said, by this point the injections aren't doing anything anyway and they wouldn't sustain a pregnancy should anything go wrong.
Did you feel scared after stopping them?? I really want to announce it to people after our scan but I'm worried my body will stop working without the injections and I lose it :/ x

LouiseM1987 · 14/07/2015 12:53

I used all mine it landed right and I used all 8 injections in both packs but I'm sure I was told if not to just use the remaining ones and not return any left x

sizethree · 14/07/2015 13:00

I think you'll have tk return the 2. That's what I did. Take your sharia bin too.
I was terrified (but that's been my default setting this entire pregnancy) but got used to it after than I thought.
Nothing you say to people will ever jinx anything. But I know how you feel.

clairemorgan81 · 14/07/2015 15:52

how do you pm on here, do you have to use full internet site?x

Marchgirl · 14/07/2015 18:16

I just click on the triple dot at the bottom right of a message written by the person you want to pm.

I would ring and check Phillippa.

I had my 12wk appt a few days early as we went on holiday the day I was 12 weeks. The day I was 12 weeks I took my last injection. Then I had two left over to return, which I took back with my sharps bin at my 16wk appt.

In my thinking, if you do an evening injection, you would go for your scan and trial appt as normal, then have your last injection in the evening. Then any left you could return at the 16weeks appt, or they might want the left overs back on your 12weeks.
I would ring and ask, should you keep one syringe to have that evening and return the rest Thursday?

As for feeling nervous! I was bricking it. It was my safety net mentally, drug or placebo!!! I was glad I went on holiday as it took my mind off not injecting.
I kind of went into another phase of land marks!
First day, no injections. A week, another week and so on, but then it becomes normal not to have them again. Phew.

Thursday can't come quick enough xx

clairemorgan81 · 14/07/2015 18:52

thanks March how you doing x

Marchgirl · 14/07/2015 20:36

More spotting and cramping all afternoon. Trying (and failing) to make myself believe it's just breakthrough bleeding as af is due today. Going to start the progesterone tonight so hoping that might settle things down (or might just mask an impending mc). Hate this stage.

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 14/07/2015 20:44

fingers crossed that's what it is march, get that progesterone started and try and think as positive as you possibly can.xx

Kazz2112 · 15/07/2015 06:09

Fingers crossed the progesterone does its magic for you March .

Here we go again with the smiley testing and another round of poas. Had a total meltdown last night at DH. Despite wearing the most expensive underwear I own his eyes stayed glued to his bloody phone screen when I came to bed.

Now I've got a freaking smiley and we've not dtd since Sunday! Sad Devastated
