How are you doing today march? Thinking of you and 100% cheerleading this into a sucessful pregnancy!

Marchgirl · 12/07/2015 12:56

Good again today thank you. Darker line and no more bleeding. Going to try and pretend this might actually get past 5 weeks.

(I should explain that all my babies have a sea creature theme, so this one is the anemone)

OP posts:
sizethree · 12/07/2015 14:34

They was WAY darker, ace news.
pompom waving from Inverleith!
Loving the naming, and spookily, mine is called barnacle as hoping it ain't going to budge easy.

Marchgirl · 12/07/2015 14:43

How very spooky size! My dd was the shrimp (and sometimes still is!), and we've had the prawn, the lobster, the limpet, the barnacle and the urchin. Hoping this anemone is a lucky one. It's making me feel like shit already! And hoping that your barnacle is lucky too. Ah Inverleith. Lovely. I love the botanics. I'm in Marchmont (hence the name)

How are you doing claire? Did they give you any idea when you'd get the progesterone results?

OP posts:
sizethree · 12/07/2015 14:54

Ha, I never added that up! I'm in Marchmont a fair bit as my sister loves there with my nephew. We've probably passed eachother over the years!
I'm named after my ridiculously trotter like tiny feet.
So pleased you're feeling awful. A very good sign your hormones are surging away happily.

clairemorgan81 · 12/07/2015 15:29

so pleased they are getting darker March excellent news Smile
I spoke to receptionist at docs on Fri she said the results are all normal, this morning I thought af had arrived early (instead of wed) so was thinking I had progesterone test way to early but I had one lot of red blood and now back to brown again so can't be af. I'm sick of it all.
anyway gp is ringing me tomorrow so I will be pushing for more tests etc x

Choccywoccydodah · 12/07/2015 15:50

Fabulous March!! Mine I found from 9dpo is the same as your top one. How exciting!!!!

Claire I'd speak to someone other than the receptionist if you can. They're not trained to read results. I found this out when I had some blood tests for ds 2 years ago and she totally panicked me with the results to then be told she shouldn't have told me the results as she was not trained.
Fingers crossed for you too this month!!!

Marchgirl · 12/07/2015 16:34

I'd definitely find out the actual numbers if they will tell you claire then you can google madly and make your own mind up, and i don't think it's unreasonable to ask for a referral, plus size's suggestion of the hsg sounds worth looking into. It's a truly rubbish time you're having Sad

OP posts:
clairemorgan81 · 12/07/2015 17:18

I will ask for numbers tomorrow. things can't be right. the brown spotting every month and now red this morning and back to brown I don't get it as I thought brown was old blood but bright red?? sick to death of it all x

sizethree · 12/07/2015 18:37

claire when you call back for test results ask to speak to the duty doctor. That's who I ask to be put through to for results.
Can you ask your GP for a Gynae referral? Or even ask the Trial Nurse to refer you? That's how I got seen and the waiting list wasn't too bad in my hospital.
Has anyone been able to shed some light on this October cut off point? I'd go stamp my feet as the unfairness of it, but I'm not really in the trial loop anymore. I really hope they give everyone a fair breather.

Kazz2112 · 12/07/2015 18:55

I keep meaning to email my trial nurse for more details. Trying not to think about it and hoping it won't matter because we'll get caught before then. I hope!

Choccywoccydodah · 12/07/2015 19:00

Our cut off is 30th September so I assume the whole country is the same. They will then analyse the results and see if they need more data. If new data is needed they will then start phase 2 of the trial and re recruit. There have only been 50% randomised, so a lot less than they wanted but they've had to have a cut off point so they can look at the results so far. That's what I was told last Thursday anyway x

clairemorgan81 · 12/07/2015 19:07

thanks size I will speak with gp tomorrow and push to be referred as my trial consultant is usless x

Kazz2112 · 12/07/2015 19:43

Eeeekkkk... Here's hoping. I really don't know what I'll do if I don't get caught this cycle. I've put all my hopes on this trial. Need to work oit a plan of action if I don't get on. Thinking I should consider contacting Coventry

Choccywoccydodah · 12/07/2015 20:11

Coventry are lovely Kazz, thoroughly recommend. They've randomised 15 out of the 75 countrywide too so lots of success :)

LouiseM1987 · 12/07/2015 21:00

March that's definitely a good sign it's getting darker ! Fingers crossed !

Kazz I recommend Coventry too they are just brilliant !

Choccy Thursday was really good and lovely to meet you sorry I couldn't talk I have no idea why I was such an emotional wreck ! They want to get all the babies together once they are born D keeps saying how lovely it'd be

Sorry if I've missed anything I'm abit rubbish at replying sorry xxx

Kazz2112 · 12/07/2015 21:04

Is it worth enquiring about the unk tests now? I'm a teacher so finish on Friday for 7 weeks. Wondering if it's worth looking into over the holidays as with me living in Manchester it's going to be a bit of a trek down to Coventry.

please could someone send me a link to the clinic and / or the spreadsheet again?

Genwah85 · 12/07/2015 21:06

Choccy have only 75 been randomised so far? I thought it would have been loads more I'm not sure why I thought that....Kaz what hospital you out of at the moment? It's says on my sheet where I fill in injection times I'm patient 33....does that mean 33 from heartlands? Or just nothing? Just wondering if anyone knows x

Kazz2112 · 12/07/2015 21:11

Im at St Marys in Manchester atm. Supposed to be amazing but so far I'm yet to be convinced. Nearly 3months since my initial rmc appointment and still heard nothing about my follow up

Kazz2112 · 12/07/2015 21:23

I've just been reading up about Coventry and about using barrier methods of contraception for the 4 weeks before. With the end of the response trial looming I don't think I can afford to have a month off ttc atm.

Indiedog · 12/07/2015 21:23

Gen I believe they have randomised half the women they need. I have been told similar to choccy, is that it's taken longer for them to get BFPs, so are going to stop and look into the data they have gathered so far.

As for the numbers, mine is 006. I think that means I was number six where I am. I think.

March, sorry I've haven't been on lately, but been keeping an eye. Keeping everything crossed, getting darker and symptoms is great going.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Phillipa, scan this week???? Sorry I'm losing track, and my marbles Blush
