Hi there, thanks for asking about me. Sorry I haven't been on here much recently. Have just been chatting with Sammy and one or two others quietly on another thread. Unfortunately my treatment didn't go well this time. I started the medication and went for my first scan which went fine and then when I went in for my second scan a few days later half of my follicles had disappeared and those that were left were small which meant I would only have 1 or 2 eggs collected so we unfortunately decided to cancel I have taken further advice since this and it seems that my doctor had been holding out too long to give me the injection to stop me from ovulating. We are going to have a consultation in the UK to get a second opinion about everything and I have also been speaking to some lovely doctors at other clinics who have given me some good advice so I feel a little clearer on the way forward and we will start again hopefully in the next month or so. It was a massive shock as I really wasn't expecting to cancel and we have flights booked for tomorrow but hopefully better luck next time!

Putney it is optimum test date so I am due AF on Monday so I will be officially late Tuesday and therefore when you're meant to test.

Lucie so sorry the plan has been scuppered. Can't believe your Dr hasn't given you everything you need to get your bfp! Glad you've got some great advice for moving forward though so you've got loads of knowledge to get your well deserved baby as soon as possible xxx

Oh no, Lucie, I am so sorry to hear that. It must be incredibly frustrating for you, and so disappointing too. I guess it is good that you found out early on, rather than several cycles down the line, but what a pile of poo.

At least you have a plan in place, and are looking forward. Will you stay with the same clinic?

DizzyN I'm in the same boat as you - CD1. Felt really disappointed and sad this morning but was so busy didn't have time to mope. Now I'm home I'm actually feeling much more positive. I now know that I actually do ovulate so will be bang on my temps and OPKs - sssh don't tell the doctors haha. I understand why doctors say that but it makes me feel like I might have some control over what happens if I at least know what is going on, even if I'm just kidding myself. DH has also been on the sperm vits and we've got some conception plus to try so fingers effing crossed. I'm an April baby myself so what a lovely birthday present that would be.....hinthintwhoeverisupthere

Good luck, Madame! At least you know there is nothing physically wrong now, so it is just a matter of time before you get that BFP.

I agree that temping & OPKs give you a feeling of control. So much is out of our hands when it comes to TTC that it is nice to know what is going on. Plus it enables you to focus your efforts at the right time.

My OPK was a lot paler than the test line earlier, so I am pretty sure the little egg has dropped. I really hope it is feeling friendly & lets one of the sperms in!

dizzymerry I missed your question sorry love! I did conceive on first round of Clomid with DS. The docs told me I probably wasn't ovving as I wasn't having periods but I did no tracking at all so I might have been. I do worry how 'powerful' my eggs are without the Clomid, esp after my MC. Have you ever taken or been recommended Clomid? I don't know much about low progesterone so not sure if that's a thing they'd suggest! I will be tracking with you from day 1 if my next cycle fails - don't want to miss a thing! Hope you're ok.

I'm on deaths door here I think I must have a tummy bug! I've felt sick with stomach cramps all day. (Or it could be the big bag of sour cream and chive crisps that I ate last night) I know it's just a bug but the naughty voice in my head says it's the start of morning sickness even though I know it's too early (cycle day 23 of 28) I am of course not lying in my sick bed googling early morning sickness!

Hi ladies, hope your are all well, came back from Scotland today, nightmare journey , M6 was like a car park, due to crash around Manchester, but home safe and sound, had a lovely time in Scotland, got a bit of the holiday blues now, thinking about going back to work on Monday but least its the weekend so we shall forget about that!!, have not had much time to be on here so hoping i have not missed too much, not had much time to think about ttc, left my opks at home for the week but i am only cd 10 so i know ovualtiion should be round the corner, hoping to get some action in on the next few days, !!
