AF lasting 2 weeks, waiting to TTC!! :(

So sadly had a MC 9/10 weeks ago, i was only 4w6d. At first i was begging to see AF as we are so desperate for a family, but now its been constant for 2 weeks!
Days 1 - 3 brown spotting
4 - 8 usual period with little clots
Now up until now its been quite heavy & sometimes i leak (sorry tmi)!

Is this normal please anyone?
I also had a very positive opk last night, doesnt even make sense?

Can anyone shed any light PLEASE??

I don't have much advice but could you be pregnant? Have you done a pregnancy test? Hopefully someone will be along shortly with more knowledge.

No i havent done a pregnancy test. I just assumed a 2 week long period cant possibly mean im pregnant? Thank you for replying, hope someone has any experience/advice for me today fx

Hi Shannon - no experience on the heavy bleeding, but as dizzy says it could be a pregnancy. I would do a test just so you know either way, and whatever the result go and see your doc. Especially if bleeding is so heavy, you're at risk of becoming anaemic. Xx

All i want is to be a mum, my dp is away until later so will wait until the morning to do a test. Just hope im not MCing all over again :(

Shannon I know how you feel. I'm on cycle 20 this month Hmm.

It could just be your body still getting back to normal after your previous miscarriage, don't panic yet.
Have you seen a negative test since your mc?

Yes i had a few negatives after MC (poas more than once due to severe pregnancy symtoms).. I did have 2 positives but after recommended time so put that down to evap lines, although now with this bleeding iv got a feeling its another early MC, iv just bought 2 cheepie tests for 99p from home bargains so going to do one of those to put my mind at rest :) thanks for replying xx

Done a test this morning & got an extremely faint bfp, i have had negatives up until now all throughout my period (scared of ectopic) so wondering whats going on? Not sure if u can see the line in picture but its definitely there, done another test this eve & came up bfn so going to try in the morning, anyone know whats going on? I do have slight ache on the left side of my stomach so really concerned over ectopic atm :( x

Thank you sammy. Rechecked this eves test & there is not also a pink bfp. I know it was after the recommended time but surely after this morning bfp it cant be an evap? Or can it? Jeez so confused. Iv recently found out iv lost my job too so feeling pretty pissed. Hating life right now so abit of good news would be nice! Xx

I can just about see the line, tentative congratulations.

I would def get checked though because bleeding for so long can't be good for you. It'll also put your mind at rest re ectopic. Give your local early pregnancy unit a call. Xx

I can see a line, faint but a line all the same so tentative congrats. As Sammy says do get the bleeding checked out. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

Went to the gp this morning done a urine test there (after another bfp in my house) & it came back negative! So have had bloods done but got to wait 7 days for results! Talk about dragging it out!

thanks sammy :) feeling very emotional tonight, i just want to either look forward to a pregnancy, or everything return to normal so i can look forward to conceiving. why cant things ever be straight forward ey! x

Funnily enough the bleeding stopped the next day, like completely! How frustrating! Had alot of discharge now though, thick too (sorry tmi!) i would reaaaalllyyy like to know whats going on!
